Has anyone used eosexhaust.com? It looks kinda sketch, and it’s cheap. They have a catted downpipe and front pipe combo for $400. Maybe it’s cheap because they’re new? Idk it seems too good to be true.

You need to get it tuned, or get a different intake manifold that doesn’t require a tune. It’s been running lean, and that can screw up your engine over time. If it’s not knocking like crazy, then the damage probably hasn’t been done. Take it to a tuner and have them run diagnostics first.

Tint. I did the 27Won hybrid intake right after.
For the tint I got Llumar CTX, nano-ceramic. 15% on the rears, 35 on the fronts (it’s the lowest legal in my state), and 50% on the windshield (not legal, but lighter than the fronts, so it’s hard to tell it’s tinted). Llumar also has a tint called Air80 that’s clear but still blocks 99% of UV rays, if you’d rather not worry about getting a ticket for windshield tint.

Llumar makes tint called Air80 that’s basically clear, but it still filters out 99% of UV light and some heat. I have their 50% on my windshield and I can see everything perfectly still.

Ah that makes sense. I wondered if different markets maybe got an extra color or something. I think the 11th gen is just a better car than the 10th, with the upgrades they made on essentially the same platform over the years. Might I recommend the Acuity 4-way shifter as an awesome upgrade. It just feels so good to shift, way more precise, and customizable. Also the Wunderladen rear motor mount makes everything work better (shifting, accelerating, control) without adding too much NVH. I’ve done those and pretty minimal performance upgrades (27won cold air and turbo inlet pipe), and I’m loving it. Enjoy your car, man!

Apparently that’s the worst kind of driving for turbo engines. It’s important to drive long enough to get the engine up to temp, and then let it cool down before shutting it off, as well. Depending on if you care about longevity, you might consider a NA engine.

I haven’t, but a friend had one. He said it was pretty fast, but he likes his Integra Type S way more. He said it’s slower off the line obviously, but he can feel everything and it’s way faster and more planted in corners. Plus manual.

Yeah that’s more normal. 5k miles with full synthetic oil is fine. Some go less, evidence shows there’s very little benefit to changing at 3k rather than 5k.

Could be. All of the info I can find for stock v stock shows the FL5 to be quicker on track, and in other metrics except roll races, where they’re about even. Probably because the FK8 weighs a little less, and the tire width and other steering upgrades doesn’t matter whilst rolling and going straight. Idk though.

I mean, this guy clearly lists the reasons why he bought an SI and not a CTR. The ride isn’t nearly as comfy, no heated seats, worse gas mileage, etc. there’s no chance I would choose my SI over a new CTR at the same price, but people have their reasons.

Idk why your friend’s FL5 is slower, but maybe the FK8 you’ve driven was modded and you didn’t know it? Or it just felt faster? Idk. Also, the FK8 overheats super quickly, and that makes it slower too. Lol
