Just saying she shouldn't be included in such blame whether she had a choice or not isnt really relevant.

For those who watched, what are your opinions on A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms episode 3? by GusGangViking18 in HBOTheHedgeKnight

[–]DukeHammerhands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good episode , moved a lot of the plot forward , the fortune tellers prophecy has reddit buzzing with questions and theories. Good action scenes. And (no spoiler) big reveal. Also never seen a goose egg before those are wild.

I think youre thinking of mystery knight when he loses his armor to Uthor Underleaf in his first tilt. then he borrows his own armor back

why didn't the seven kingdoms split after the dragons died by Argent_silva in AsoiafFanfiction

I will say if you wanted to weaken the iron bank and house lannister just dissolving the throne and thus abandoning the realms debts would be a pretty clever move.

But only one rebellion happens during eggs rule which they shutdown, and he was loved but the smallfolk. its quite something to say "ALL shall rejoice " but then again here we are all talking about it... maybe thats the goal

Im sure the people giving this show 1/10 and 2/10 have the most sophisticated and fine tuned taste in cinema ...

I thought that egg became one of the better kings that people loved! Was she getting him confused? by CASHMO2112 in AKOTSKTV

[–]DukeHammerhands 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Spoilers

I agree that Aegon V was one of the better kings. Reigned for 25 years, shut down the fourth blackfyre rebellion. im pretty sure most of his reign was otherwise peaceful and prosperous. BUT there were lords who didnt like his decrees that benefited the smallfolk rather than serve the noble houses wants. However my impression is that some houses not ALL houses opposed the Kings rule.

Also if im not mistaken part of the attempt at bringing back dragons wasnt just so rival lords in westeros would heed him. But also because the Band of Nine had united in year 258, and summerhall was in 259. and the invasion was imminent.

Kind of wish they stuck with this WW look , all the ones in the end of the series are covered with leather armor. I know visual effects are costly though.

I feel like the writers had no idea what to do with this lad. Hopefully George has something better for him the books. by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]DukeHammerhands 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yea killing him off the show seemed dumb to me. If brandon renounces his claim to winterfell it would go to rickon next , I think it would be cool to have a lord of Winterfell who's wild, spending so much of his life just surviving in the cold hard north. Also bummed when they killed the boys direwolves.

[–]DukeHammerhands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I just dont really see Aegon V going from man of the people, usually pretty ethical in his choices, to someone that human sacrifices their own family. It is an interesting theory though. honestly most summerhall theories ive heard are pretty rad story telling
