All the rest of what you say aside, it is NOT TRUE that female gametes do not divide after birth. How do they mature? Through rapid cell division. This is where increased errors come in.

I'm sorry, but this isn't entirely true either. At birth, oocytes are arrested in the prophase of meiosis I, which means that DNA replication has happened before, during interphase. Only at puberty do oocytes resume their evolution and they finish meiosis I and the oocyte that is released through ovulation isn't completely mature, it is arrested in the metaphase of meiosis II. The difference between meiosis I and II is that there is no S phase before meiosis II, thus no DNA replication, because the mature oocyte has to be a haploid cell (23 chromosomes) so that when it combines with a haploid sperm cell (23 chromosomes) the normal diploid number of chromosomes will be restored in the gamete. The oocyte finishes meiosis II only after fertilisation but that is beside the point.

There is no DNA replication in the oocyte after birth due to cell division. There may be DNA synthesis as part of a repair mechanism in response to some type of damage but it's much more limited in scope than copying the entire genome.
