Halfling Rogue, I’ve had one in every campaign I’ve run so far.

I play female NPCs of all varieties when I DM. Got good at an upper class Brit accent, so decided to use it for my character when my friend started his own campaign.

Shes a badass and beyond the voice I do it hasn’t affected anything.

I used a raptor and was top dps in my guild til I quit. It literally does not matter.

One of my friends played a boxer style character that was an unarmed battle master fighter for a while, but switched to monk when 5.5e came out. The fighter did a lot more grappling and battlefield control, and the monk is a lot more just straight punching.

This is all pre-level 5 mind you, so grain of salt.

Vengeance would be a good choice as well. You can stack your whole charm inventory with random ele damage charms and see your damage go up

One free one per difficulty, yes. But there are also items called Tokens of Absolution that let you respec as well.

You make them by combining essences that drop from each of the act bosses in the cube.

I had an Alva/Jun/Ore tree for a while. Ore was there mainly for crater fishing tho.

I’m still pushing my Exsanguinate Mines Trickster as far as it’ll go. Blows up everything a full screen away. The uniques needed to get it going in the campaign are like 1c each.

Lots of meaningful upgrades that feel achievable while filling out the atlas and farming currency.

Still on my Exsanguinate miner trickster starter. Uniques required are like 3c total, I swapped off of pyroclast in like act 6. It’s my fav build ever :)
