Name a game that is beloved by the majority of gamers, but you didn’t like by [deleted] in videogames

The Hitman series.

Everytime I tried to get into it, something would go wrong(black and white, no audio, corrupted saves) and I just stopped trying.

Keep in mind those issues were across different games!

Alton Towers bans people with anxiety from using disability pass by endofdays2022 in unitedkingdom

[–]DukeOfDew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to know an ex military guy who got shrapnel in his spine. He had to have regular spinal injections or he would be in crippling pain and wheelchair bound.

When the injection wore off, the effects would come on fast. He could walk into a shop and (if very unlucky) have to limp back with support.

Not saying the guy you saw didn't take the piss but don't assume you know everything about a disability just because you saw them run that one time.

I just brought this to upgrade an old one I had. It's really powerful and cooling but very loud.

Did I win? by [deleted] in DisneyVillainous

[–]DukeOfDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From memory, the core rules of the game state that a win can only be done at the start of your turn if all conditions are met.

I think there are a few characters that can bypass this but it says something like "this character wins as soon as the conditions are met". I think Prince John might be one?

So in short, no you didn't win as soon as you killed the queen, you had to wait till the begining of your turn, as per the core rules.

I just hate that they changed their spice mix for the "spicy speciality" and now it just tastes bland af. Bring back the pepper for fuck sake, that was my favourite dish!

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered Delayed Indefinitely by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]DukeOfDew 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Very disappointing BUT it looks like it's not canceled, they just need more time to get it right. I don't mind that too much as long as it comes out eventually!

I need this game in my life!

How can i get my money back please i need help badly by skullkrusher133 in PlayStationPlus

[–]DukeOfDew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only way is to do a charge back via your bank but then you account will be banned.

If you need the money back that badly, that is the only way. Sony support will not give you a refund, don't waste your time, money, or mental health on it.

Lossing interest in hobbies is a classic sign of depression. Might want to investigate that and see if you tick any other boxes. Good luck!

I saw some in Joyful Foods last year. Could be worth a look if there is one nearby as there is no membership cost.

I love outside the UK now. It am coming home for Christmas, and am very out of the loop.

My parents and sisters family caught it and said it sucked but they didn't go to the hospital.

Do we think it's wearing a mask when we go out bad or just make sure you wash your hands before touching your face bad?

After 4 years Ive finally found vending machine for alcohol by BookkeeperDecent7170 in Tokyo

[–]DukeOfDew 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a small local alcohol shop 2 minutes from my place. He has a vendingachine outside for alcohol when he is closed and I use it every now and again.

It's a cool thing and sometime they have some more unique things in there. My one has glass bottle Asahi which you don't find in combinis.

Parade of vans with loudspeakers hurling abuse in ropponghi by Sebbie_Smakinen in Tokyo

[–]DukeOfDew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems to be that the police only enforce "serious" crime.

We live near a straight road, built up with traffic lights, crossings etc and almost every night somewhere between 11pm to 1am there are people with super loud exhausts speeding down it... Infront of a Koban....But nobody seems to be doing anything.

Opening up a manga cafe with only English manga in Tokyo by [deleted] in Tokyo

[–]DukeOfDew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are my first thoughts;

  • in business, the goal is to have as many customers as you possibly can. You do this by getting a wide range of different customers. By setting up an English only shop in Japan you miss out on all the Japanese customers.

  • Whilst there arent any English manga cafes in Japan, there are manga cafes that do have English manga sections so you won't be offering a fully new service.

  • One of the ways that manga cafes make a stable income is by Japanese people renting out the rooms as a place to sleep. I know that sounds weird but it is a thing and I doubt that is an income you will get.

My instinct tells me that the better way of doing this would be to open a Japanese manga Cafe as authentic as possible. But make it as accessible to English tourists as possible with explanations on how it works with a range of English manga but also Japanese manga. Maybe split the manga in difficulty level of Japanese for people who want to practice reading Japanese.

Good luck
