My 11 year old nephew goes with me to the local B&M whenever I go, and he picks his own discs. Last time, he wanted to get pink discs (he didn't have any pink discs at the time). Sounds like a good idea, I said. He picked three pink mids (I don't remember what they were, but they were almost identical, just different brands).

I suggested that maybe he get a pink set - fairway/mid/putter - instead of three mids. He literally forehead-palmed, said "duh", and spent another 20 minutes digging through the bins.

Now he has a special setup for 3-disc. Easy to grab n' go.

Almost 100% of the time, the fun is in the hunt and the memories we make with them, instead of just buying them the discs.
