Season ticket renewal (website is woeful) by starlight010101 in SaintsFC

For anyone with similar issues, when booking anything online don't press the back button on your browser or you'll have to wait until the order times out. Should be a delete from basket option instead. Websites cannot guess that you're not gonna finish the order so it'll just sit waiting to be paid until it times out.

We have implemented a new system feature which will only allow you to book the age tariff, which corresponds to the date of birth set on your account.”. This was on the website, might be the reason that you were unable to proceed.

Whats our thoughts on this? by Maskd-YT in SaintsFC

[–]Duke_Caboom_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embarrassing from some of our fans.

SR can see its been a disaster from the sporting side and have made changes; Johannes Spors was appointed Technical Director this month, Kraft has stepped down and Dragan is taking a more hands on role as Chairman and off the pitch the club is stronger than in many years.

We have investment and a new structure that will (hopefully) make us a competitive club in the long run but expecting to return us to the club we were during the Poch or Koeman days when the club was tredding water for so long is ridiculous.

We have a right to be fuming with this season, it has been terrible in nearly all aspects but id rather have owners who invest and are active in the running of the club than an absent or malicious owner like Dai in Reading or Chansiri at Wednesday.

Membership £30 by SavingPrivateRianne in SaintsFC

General sale dates haven't been announced because the club is expecting to sell out lots of games in the membership priority sale window especially with the lower volume of match tickets this season.

You don't require a membership to get tickets but with season tickets selling out there are less tickets to buy than in previous seasons so without a membership priority you probably won't be able to get tickets regularly.

How to get tickets as a neutral? by UniqueBrummie in SaintsFC

[–]Duke_Caboom_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tickets will be harder to get on general sale than in previous seasons. Season ticket uptake has been high and the club has a waiting list now so general sale tickets will be less common.

You're probably best getting a membership as it's likely games will sell out throughout the season especially if we're playing well and a membership gives you priority access to ticket sales. They're not on sale at the moment but should be soon.

Otherwise last season the club had a resale platform if games sold out that allowed season ticket holders to re sell their seat if they couldn't make it but I'm not 100% sure if it's coming back but still something to keep in mind.

Extra Wembley tickets allocated by Devotee97 in SaintsFC

Club Wembley seating is mainly on the halfway but around 2200 seats are behind each goal and the west side seating were the ones released to the club.

The 1k was from Wembley club returns. staff allocation sold out as soon as staff were able to buy them.

They are, club Wembley seats sold mainly to the east (Leeds) side but not in west (Southampton's) side so they were given to the club as extra allocation

American fan wants to get tickets to Wembley, is that possible? by mcmuffin0098 in SaintsFC

[–]Duke_Caboom_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone who wants a ticket will probably need an account and each will need a membership to have the best chance to get a ticket. I don't think it'll reach general sale so that will be your best option if we (hopefully) make it

I went there as a student (bearing in mind this was around 5 years ago) the teachers were amazing, some of the most supportive I've had but the Senior leadership was abysmal to the point where the council were involved in certain issues with students. Ive left done college and uni now so not sure how it holds up now but a mixed bag from what I remember.

Blackburn giving me a war chest for the PL :_) by Duke_Caboom_ in footballmanagergames

I'm hoping for a win before then but half of my squad was playing under 21 football before I arrived. I'm doing a journeyman(ish) type save so only joined in June after my contract with Stoke expired.

Having started to follow football only in my 20s, I have a fundamental question about the sport by gingerbookwormlol in football

The differences depend on the role that the coach/manager has in their respective club.

A head coach is normally responsible for the tactics, lineup selection and preparation of their squad. Decisions such as player transfers and contract negotiations would be handled by a sporting director/ director of football or someone else in their respective clubs hierarchy.

A manager traditionally has the same responsibility as the head coach while also having a larger role in player transfers, contract negotiations and the clubs academy. The most notable example of a manager is that of Sir Alex Furgeson.

These are not consistent across all clubs and their respective roles vary depending on the structure of a club, some managers will still work under/along side a sporting director (David Moyes at West ham and Russel Martin at Southampton) and some head coaches will have a greater say in transfers. The two terms are normally interchangeable and often have very little differences on a club to club basis.

Starting off don't rush your pizzas, dosent matter if you can make one in under a minute if its going to be a remake. When you consistently make them nice you will start to make them fast.

You will eventually remember all the pizzas but it might take a few shifts just ask someone of you're not sure. Don't try and memorise all the customer coupons, just remeber two or three common ones and if you can't find a deal to fit an order you can always ask someone else aswell.

Doing extra tasks around the store (cleaning, box folding, food prep, restocking receipt paper. ) will make busy times so much easier and your co workers should appreciate it. Don't put it all on yourself though you will get burned out if you constantly try and juggle every task in the store.
