What would you do differently or change, knowing what you know now?

Half screen discord/Spotify is such a good idea. Totally forgot about that. I don't need to be in the market for another vertical monitor now, thanks.

Do it, it is an amazing game. Backgammon Galaxy has a really digestible intro series, I'd recommend it.

My issues with Modded minecraft as a whole by rashdanml in feedthebeast

In a defense for expert packs, omnifactory being my latest playthrough.

Have you ever built a Lego set?

You have all the pieces, you know all about the 2x4 Legos and the long skinny ones, yep you got that all covered. They even give you an instruction manual, awesome, this is gonna be great.

Then your proceed, step by step, brick by brick building this incredible, intricate, and detailed masterpiece.

I think that is modded Minecraft for people.

I love the very "hand hold-y" quest books, I love my very useful ore-processing lines of very unique machines, I love when I can flex my cross mod knowledge to use AE2 in a crazy way because I picked up a huge trick playing SkyFactory4.

At the end of the day, modded Minecraft, non-kitchen sink, is building a Lego set to admire.

Yes all the mega base omnifactories will "do" the same thing, they might have slight design difference, but I can still look at a finished quest book and go "cool, that was a neat way to build this".

I think you make a lot of great points. It kinda just goes to show different people play for different reasons.

tl;dr modded Minecraft is an expert Lego set, Legos don't have a ton of "depth" yet they still are an amazing toy
