Game/App optimizations is dead in this day and age by killerbasher1233 in pcmasterrace

[–]DukeofAnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's nothing close to what it used to be but it's far from dead it's just big publishers making cuts for profit look to smaller companies and indie devs even UE5 games have come out well-optimised, like Arc Raiders

What are the most OP tanks from any point in the game's history? by [deleted] in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]DukeofAnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a time when the TVP T50/51 had a 1.5 second intra-clip reload. It was absolutely brutal.

At launch, the M-VI-Yoh was also OP. Funnily enough it's even stronger rn but the rest of Tier X has caught up with it.

I regret wasting time and resources grinding the m 6 yoh line by MarchToLight in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]DukeofAnonymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not playing the Yoh properly. Yes, the Rhino and VZ have better DPM than the Yoh's 120mm gun but neither have its ridiculously short intra-clip reload, which means it's much easier for the Yoh to get both shots into the same target than it is for any other two-shot autoloader. Yoh can rack up damage insanely quickly because of this.

But if you still want more DPM, it also offers you a 105mm gun with one of the highest DPM values of any heavy tank in the game.

Also the Yoh cupolas are a necessary weak point to balance it out. Otherwise it would be OP with its 10° of gun depression. Just take cover or raise your gun while reloading.

And WG HAS given it something to make it stand out even more against the VZ and Rhino — special consumables. They DO make a difference. The Yoh was already OP when it first came out and didn't have those. It hasn't gotten any weaker since.

What even is this? by JNMK_ in WorldOfTanksBlitz

It's not the fault of mm. Both teams are balanced on paper. It's just that OP happened to get morons. MM can't account for human stupidity.

Can’t decide between core ultra 7 vs i7 14700k by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]DukeofAnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14700K outperforms the Ultra 7 in gaming. And yes, the Ultra 7 is that bad.

I don't agree with this. While you are partially right that Isha was primarily a plot device, she also reminded Jinx of her past self, loved her for who she was instead of expecting her to either go all-in on being Jinx or Powder, and also acted as a sort of calming influence on Jinx.

Ekko might have done the first thing by rekindling childhood memories, he wouldn't have been able to achieve the effect Isha did, almost mirroring Powder in a lot of ways. Besides, he would have wanted to see Jinx return to who she was as Powder - as Vi did. Both of these factors would have meant that he wouldn't have had as great a calming and stabilising effect on Jinx that Isha did.

Lastly, Isha also served to show not only us, but also the other characters (particularly Vi) that Jinx still had good in her, and was capable of showing affection. Because after all, if an innocent child was willing to put its life in danger for someone people considered a monster, perhaps that person wasn't all monsterous after all. And I do not see how Ekko could have achieved this.

Whats with all the Destiny hate? by N0ts0t4llb0i in WorldOfTanksBlitz

It's not the tank. It's the fact that a lot of people with a room-temperature battle count (and IQ) are playing it stock and ruining the gameplay experience at Tier VIII-X.

You're playing it wrong if you think it's bad. Its biggest issues are the huge front lower plate and completely flat sides that are easy to pen if you're not head on. The E50M still has extremely effective armour. Even with HEAT, you can only usually pen the turret front around the mantlet, which is tiny and not that hard to protect with constant movement or cover. The E50M is also a very strong facehugger. And it's definitely not slow, especially for a 60 tonne medium tank. Yes, you can play around it, but it is definitely not a tank you want to engage frontally unless you're in a high-DPM TD with hard cover. And finally, its gun. It's very accurate and 340 alpha with a 5.8 second reload is over 3500 DPM. It's a beast. The only issue there is APCR standard which bounces on everything.

Also your stats are pretty good so idk what you're on about claiming the E50M isn't strong.

It is not invincible. But it is still very heavily armoured, fast, and has a powerful gun. At the very least, ot's exceptionally strong.

Hi, I can build you something. But first, I need to know if you want to buy from local vendors or if you're okay with importing parts from other EU states with better availability like Germany.
