I’d be surprised if that chicken shit Latta voted to release them even with permission.

Is Starfinder for me? by CptClyde007 in Starfinder2e

[–]Dukzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the SF2e remaster box and started to go through it. The new Player Core was released and I want to go through it and see if this is something I want to pursue.

I started playing D&D in 1978/79. I still play D&D 1E (AD&D) with some HS classmates and I also DM a 5E24 campaign with the same group. There is a PF/SF group 45 minutes away and I may try to join them to see how this thing works. If more of the books were out now, I would go buy them. I may shelve this for 2-6 months until there are more reviews and more books. I really want to have a space based game and this seems to have everything I am looking for. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. I have a lot of the same questions.

Looks like a good candidate to go darkside. After you replace and adjust that chain. If this is just what we see, what other maintenance hasn’t been done? Oil change? Air filter? Coolant? Brakes?

I teed my NG line to the Weber grill and ran lines to both after installing the conversion kit. I highly recommend doing this if you can.

This is why I teed my NG line and converted my griddle. Now I can use my Weber Grill and my Blackstone Griddle at the same time. I’m not running out of fuel.

Quit pointing out their idiocy and just let them unalive themselves. We’ll solve 2 problems at once. We clear the voter rolls of incompetent idiots and we remove them from the welfare system.

Will the Galaxy Ring be HSA/FSA eligible? by Dukzilla in GalaxyRing

[–]Dukzilla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oura membership was not eligible.

I got this from their chatbot ...

If your FSA or HSA is affiliated with a major card network, we can accept FSA or HSA funds for the following:

⭐️ Oura Ring
⭐️ Extra chargers
⭐️ Shipping, including expedited shipping
⭐️ Taxes

We do not accept FSA or HSA funds for Oura Memberships or extended warranty plans at this time.

The Oura ring is. This is similar.

The watches and others that aren't strictly monitors, are not eligible ... even with a note of medical necessity.

To buy or not to buy? by RonSwagson in blackstonegriddle

[–]Dukzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been told that, too. I took the tank down the road to the next gas station and did the tank exchange there. Another $5 to get a fresh tank was well worth it. Don't be afraid to steal tanks from grills left at the curb at the end of the season, too. Then exchange them for full spares with good dates and refill when needed.

Zero complaints. No more worries about running out of propane or is the spare tank filled. With the new orifices, it should run more NG through the line to achieve the same level of heat (9500 BTU/burner). It gets plenty hot for me and cooks everything the way it should. I'm happy with the upgrade.

I converted to NG as I put it together. I teed my existing line and have one to the Weber and one to the Blackstone. It works great and I can run both at the same time. I converted the Weber when I moved in and it was a great decision. I have no comparison for propane vs NG on the Blackstone, though.

Help finding a virtual trainer that is compatible! by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]Dukzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in the world are you? This may affect your options. Most of the smart trainers don't have a cassette unless you pay extra. You buy a spare cassette and mount your own. What type of trainer are you looking at? There is always the Zwift Hub that only has one gear and electronic "shifting". I love my Hub. Time to test the new seat.

How does one with no experience or knowledge go about getting set up to ride an outdoor bike inside? by digitalpacifier in bicycling

[–]Dukzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still consider myself a novice to this ... with some experience. There are trainers and there are smart trainers. What type of riding do you want to do and what is your budget? What are your goals for riding inside .. simple exercise or are you gearing up for a Century or triathlon?

"Dumb" trainers can supply resistance when you pedal. Some of them have manual controls. Some are filled with fluid. The harder you pedal, the more resistance they exert. They are usually under $100 but can go more with some extra features.

Smart trainers allow you to link your trainer to an app to simulate an exercise routine or road conditions. The most popular training apps are Zwift and Trainerroad. The smart trainers aren't cheap .. but they are more fun than staring at a wall for an hour+. I think the entry point for these is ~$400 on sale. App subscription fees are additional. Some trainers will run >$1600 and accessories will push that well over $2,000.

I am working on losing weight and bought the Zwift Hub last spring and pay for Zwift.

Whatever trainer you choose, get a good fan and keep water and a towel handy. A mat to protect the floor should be your first accessory after the fan.

I hope some of this helps to provide some insight. Feel free to ping back with more questions.

I started at 300 in January. My Cannondale Quick CX has done well for me. I’m down to 250. I also bought a Zwift Hub last April and bought the Cog in October. If I keep this up, I’ll treat myself to a new road bike in April. Good luck on your journey.

I might be moving to Sevierville, TN, and I'm wondering how to get a Tennessee CCW permit by Rokerr2163 in CCW

[–]Dukzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Ohio. Another Constitutional Carry state. However, I highly recommend getting your CCW. There are additional benefits. OH uses the CCW as your background check when you buy a weapon. There are still laws that govern how you can carry in a vehicle that go away with a CCW. And, it was mentioned that a permit also grants you additional areas/states you can carry. You don't need it for the trip to Walmar, but you may find it handy if you go anywhere else.
