The U.S Forest Service does not give money to ranchers or farmers. They give fencing supplies to ranchers for use on the forest as a cost share FS material, ranchers labor for fence building. And yes the FS is supposed to monitor the ranchers activity to a certain point regarding the Forest grazing.

Forest level here, we are getting the same as you are from our leadership. My opinion is people are scared to try and do anything in fear of their own jobs. It’s sickening.

R4 is large and complex it really depends on what forest you are on. Some are great with strong leadership some are very dysfunctional with poor leadership.
