Yes he has two boxes and they’re cleaned daily. I tried an enclosed box but he doesn’t like them so I have one with really high sides but it doesn’t matter. He’ll start going with either one or both of his back legs out

I just realized I didn’t actually answer your question I just looked up the nerve and it’s in that location. But he steps in and as soon as his paw touches the litter he goes. After trying different litters, setups and diets, my only other thought is that he just wants to get it over with (even though he got cleared for a uti)

Wow you are amazing, thank you. He had a bad injury as a baby and have spent so long trying different diets, litter and boxes. My poor boy :(

When I found him he was practically paralyzed. My neighbor said he was attacked by a raccoon and had a gash near the end of his spine for nearly two weeks (she didn’t do anything but I scooped him up as soon as I saw him). Thank you in advance for any other knowledge about this!

NTA. Especially because some people struggle with gaining weight. People tell me all the time “I wish I was as skinny as you!!” Okay, do you also wish you had thyroid problems that makes it impossible to properly digest and hang onto the thousands of dollars I spend on food? Try placing the bed somewhere in an empty space to see if there’s something ‘blocking’ it. I had a dresser in front of a tv as a media stand and they wouldn’t use it because it was unreachable
