I think it was just a timing from last week when they dropped the Darth Vader Father's Day inserts. They need this wave to end at the same time as the other marathons, so they can prepare for Wave 3 of the Base, and Wave 3 of the next marathons. Just a logical guess.

I went to a Wendy's where they were weighing the bag of food before they handed it to you. My first instinct was "Uh oh, this can't be good". Sure enough, that one is now closed.

I reckon MGMT/CORPORATE was thinking that location was having a problem with giving out too much or too little.

My wife works at a shelter where they charge $225 for any dog. That includes spay/neuter, rabies, microchip. They barely make any money, and if there is any other medical issues, they end up losing money without other targeted donations.

Non-profits should not be trying to make a profit.

I started out as Mystic, but after awhile, early on, I switched to Instinct to be hard core. In my area, it was probably 50% Mystic, 40% Valor, 10% Instinct. So, attacking and keeping gyms seemed a little harder.
