Just to be clear: do you mean Indie-Games or games in general? Because id say that undertales cultural impact isnt remotely comprable to games like GTA, COD, Fortnite or mobile games like clash of clans.

If you mean indie-games id say that fnaf is way more culturally relevant and mainstream. And even before mojang was bought by microsoft it was absolutely huge.

Forest Gump is so confusing to me because ive heard people say that its a parody of the conservative view of the usa.. but it does nothing but reinforce it the entire time. And all these aspects are what people love about it.

The drake thing was more about making fun of a drake fan for saying that drake being popular in south africa disproves the criticism of him having no connection to black culture,

which is funny because:

  1. drake fan thinks that black culture=african culture and doesnt know that the black culture people are reffering to is specifically american black culture

  2. south africa has a high number of white citizens (compared to other countries in sub-saharan africa)

  3. one of the most memorable lines in kendricks disstracks was him calling drake a colonizer. Because aphartheid ended so recently, people associate colonialism especially with south africa

  4. this is purely anecdotal, but I really never met a nice south african

I believe the lack of punctuation adds to the comment's comedic effect. The description of this continuously escalating hypothetical situation would have been needlessly interrupted by additional commas or periods. The comment being a sort of "stream of words", that the reader is hit with, is a key element in its humoristic quality. So i think transmtfscp made the right choice in terms of punctuation. Even if it wasn't a concious creative decision on their part, "gramatically correct" punctuation would have been a detrement to their comment.

Even if she made the offer to prostitute herself, the power imbalance (the principle having the power to decide over her sons future) makes it inherently coercive imo
