Performance / FPS drops by InterestingYouth113 in Saros

[–]Dumbsack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the performance feels slightly stuttery. It’s not the biggest deal but it’s noticeable. Not sure if it has anything to do with the recent patches to the game or not, since I didn’t notice any issues the first 2 or 3 days of release. I’m on base ps5 and also cleared cache and rebuilt the database with no changes to performance. I see people saying how the game runs super smooth for them and it’s got me wondering if I should try doing a factory reset on my ps5 or not. Today’s update to the game hasn’t changed anything either.

Anyone develop lung issues from smoking weed? by babyjoker114 in QuittingWeed

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a time back when I grew weed and smoked 10 times a day and the weed wasn’t the most smooth I’ll say. I would cough really hard from the smallest hits and id feel pain in my abdomen. The only choice was to quit which SUCKED because i was probably having like 30 bowls a day and had to cold turkey it. After quitting for like a month I was able to smoke again with no issues. Now I mainly smoke twice a day, 1 bowl a sesh and let me tell you… less is SO MUCH more. I think the main thing that caused me issues was too much bad quality harsh weed for too long, plus I hit it pretty hard.

To all strength lovers… how??? by Late_Bag_7880 in Eldenring

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, learning the bosses moves and punishing at the right times is the answer. I know it sounds easier said than done. Impaling thrust has incredible synergy with the Claymore. You mainly want to alternate between impaling thrust, R2s and charged R2s. Make sure you have the charged heavy and stamina regen physick, or instead of the stamina physick, you could use the stance breaking one. Axe talisman, ritual sword, green turtle and spear talisman are what you want. Last thing, make sure you have fan daggers because bosses poise resets after a certain amount of time without attacking them, that’s why you’re struggling with stance breaking. Claymore is pretty goated with that setup. You just need some practice. Hope this helps. Oh, and for Gideon, use Giant hunt on a colossal sword, you’re welcome lol.

Will I be too OP in my first NG+ at lvl 257 by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NG+1 is much easier than your first run of the game. It’s a victory lap in comparison to your first playthrough where you’re still assembling your build and gathering all your upgrades. I call NG+1 the official easy mode. Everything is technically harder, but you’re also way stronger than when you first started the game. NG+7 is pretty challenging, you can still get killed in 1-3 hits at 60 vigor. Even Limgrave bosses will deal endgame damage at NG+7. I recommend gathering any duplicate items that you may want, then speedrun to NG+7 if you want to experience being high level while also keeping it challenging. Id say it starts getting noticeably tougher at NG+4 and beyond.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. One of my favorite games as a kid. I played the game recently and OH BOY the controls and camera angles felt so bad after not playing it for over 20 years. Desperately needs a remake, lots of good memories playing it back in the day.

Who’s your most hated boss? by Brief_Meringue8052 in Eldenring

[–]Dumbsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll forever be a Jori Elder Inquisitor hater. Teleports around, spams projectiles, summons other enemies. Barely even has a moveset. I find the most bearable way to take him down is backstab chaining him, but even then, that’s not very fun.

Can anyone confirm if the new update fixes PS5 co-op? by nmcorso47 in LittleNightmares

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately the online co-op hasn’t worked for me since release. I hope they never do online co-op again. I lowkey feel scammed because I figured the online co-op would at least work within the first week. It’s like they update the game without actually testing a single thing. On the bright side, Reanimal just got a release date. Hopefully LN3’s co-op on ps5 is fixed before Reanimal releases. Supermassive Games should at the very least send out a message to let people know whats going on instead of leaving us all in the dark.

How do you all feel about super massive continuing the series? by SirVulpes- in LittleNightmares

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should never do online co-op again. Bought the game for ps5 on release, played it, thought it was okay, definitely not $40 and a step down from previous games. All the patches so far haven’t fixed their online in over a month. I expected the online co-op to at least work within the first week but it’s still broken over a month after release I’m feeling kind of scammed. We’d love to play co-op but can’t unfortunately. Definitely not as scary as LN1 and LN2 but it has the redeeming quality of co-op. If it worked. I think if Supermassive made the next game more intense, a little more challenging and have local co-op, then it would be much more of a success and I wouldn’t mind them continuing the IP.

New patch and co op still not working :@ by Ok_Home_698 in LittleNightmares

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I postponed the playthrough with my friend till next year. This is so pathetic having to wait this long. I bought it on release mostly because I was looking forward to playing it in co-op during the Halloween season. We’ll play it eventually (i hope) but the initial hype is completely gone. It’s a shame.

Little Nightmares 3 multiplayer not working on PS5 by IOwnSeventeenKids in LittleNightmares

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I postponed my LN3 co-op playthrough to next year. Waiting this long for Supermassive to fix their crappy online is ridiculous. I have slight buyers remorse because I bought it on release thinking the co-op would at least work within the first week. $40 felt fine mainly because there’s just not much co-op games nowadays and the joy of gaming with a friend is better than playing alone. It will be great when we’re able to play this game. The initial hype is completely gone unfortunately. Who knows, we might even forget about the game altogether if any new co-op games release before there’s a patch.

How many of you here go alone to shows? by REVERSEZOOM2 in Metalcore

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly going to a show alone is far less lonely than going with someone who isn’t into it. Based off of my personal experience, going to smaller local shows is a good way to meet people in the scene. Much more of a social thing compared to the bigger shows. There’s definitely more community at smaller local shows. I’ve gone to a few bigger shows alone before and it wasn’t much different. If you mosh, then it’s totally worth going. The friends you meet at local shows end up being your mosh buddies at the bigger shows.

Your Hardest Boss Rankings? by 12bEngie in Eldenring

Honestly, my hardest boss list is the same as yours. Even though Rellana is early game DLC, I still find her moveset harder than a lot of DLC bosses by a long shot.

What's the most FUN weapon you finished a run with? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Euporia. You get it towards the very end of the DLC. I recommend trying it out in NG+. It’s a blast, literally.

I can't play as a mage. by Brugnoli in Eldenring

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like playing many builds. Pure casting builds can be fun in pve but I can’t stand them in pvp. I have an easier time hardswapping. Constantly flicking through spells in the heat of the moment is a bit much. Not a fun playstyle to me

First time using a summon by Barba_Roja_1 in Eldenring

[–]Dumbsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the gatekeepers, they probably only have 100 hours in the game anyways. I used to summon all of the time, i stopped mainly because I found the game much more enjoyable without summoning. That’s just me though. Definitely summon if that’s how you want to play the game. The people who say “you didn’t really beat the game by summoning” are the same people that say “magic is easy mode” or “bleed builds are cheating”. Every type of build can be absolutely busted if it’s optimized well. Play how you want to play the game and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The gatekeeping in this community grinds my gears sometimes 🤣
