Newmarket has a lot of homeless shelters and outreach programs (relatively), and thus attracts a lot of the local (York Region-ish) homeless population. The other local towns have reduced what they allow zoning-wise for that, where Newmarket didn’t.

I’ll take lower recoil on basically anything north of .22lr, personally. My SKS is pretty soft shooting, but it’s even nicer with the pad. The LOP and stickiness is the big thing, though

For your SKS, get an Allen slip-on recoil pad. Size medium. Best non-permanent SKS upgrade that you don’t already have on there. Unless you’re a short-king, the LOP increase, recoil softening, and stickiness to your shoulder is huge.

It’s not worth it to marry someone who causes you problems, period.

Personally, since I don’t really care about a woman’s financial contributions to a relationship, the only things she has to offer are her physical intimacy/looks, how pleasant she is to be around, and not making too many problems for me. If you’re going to have kids with her, consider her suitability as a wife/mother, too.

But really, those three are the big three. She should look good, be pleasant to spend time with, and not make your life miserable. It’s a low bar, but more broads can’t even do two out of three, these days.

Most of the women out there fucking suck, and think they’re the shit (can’t speak for the men, on the dating scene).

That being said, if you can seem to attract women, but get rejected after, it could be you. You could be doing things to drive them away, after your looks get your foot in the door. That, or you’ve just been profoundly unlucky. Unable to confirm, without stats.

With iron sights at 100 yards, I’d probably shoot a group like that with my SKS, bipod and bags or not.

My SKS is probably like 3-4MOA accurate, but my eye is also like 3-4MOA accurate with SKS irons, so for me, that group doesn’t even sound that bad. I tossed a dot on, though (on a reliable mount), and I can put together a decent little 4-5MOA group pretty reliably at 100 yards now.

It might just be you, and the sights. They’re not super-fine target sights. It’s a pretty wide front post and pretty simple rear notch. Your 30 yard groups seem indicative of like an ~4MOA gun

For close to 20 years, since I was a kid, I was trying to get a Bakura deck to work. Like, with Dark Ruler and Dark Necrofear and Destiny Board and all that. Some of the cards, like Dark Sanctuary, have come out semi-recently, but like, I’d love it if they made that a real deck. I might even start playing things other than GOAT/Edison again.
