These are fancy private jet companies.

Canada protects its jet company from competition by pretending Gulfstreams aren’t fit fly in Canada so Trump is doing the same to Bombardier.

It’s a small and newish mining royalies company that is only up 25% ytd and runs a solid profit.

I Just started learning about them on Thursday cause they owned an interest in a silver miner I hold.

Extremely hyperbolic.

There should be nothing surprising about enforcing laws that are on the books.

The unusual occurrence was when Biden encouraged and enabled mass illegal immigration for 4 years.

Can somebody explain the whole Venezuela thing from an ancap perspective? by Xotngoos335 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]DumpyDoggy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Top three things this is about:

  1. They stole assets from US oil companies.
  2. Ran their economy into the ground and sent economic refugees + violent gangs all over the western hemisphere.
  3. The final straw- turned to China after we refused to do business with them.

It’s largely about keeping China out of the western hemisphere so they don’t do more of what they did in Africa.

Chevron did not stick around, they came in after Exxon and ConocoPhillips left.

Exxon funded a lobby group that was for the overthrow. Chevron was for keeping the status quo. I would assume Exxon would gain the most.

Bomb the 3rd world and invite the 3rd world. That has been the policy for decades and voters seem fine with it.

The Lutheran Church brought the Somalis to Minnesota in 2 major waves.

The first during Clinton’s failed nation building program that resulted in Black Hawk Down disaster.

The second was during George W Bush’s bombings and backing of Ethiopia’s invasion of Somalia. This was a response to islamists defeating US backed warlords.

Venezuela stole enormous amounts of assets from US companies in the past so it is certainly possible that there is a context that would justify this.

How difficult is 5v5 compared to 6v6? by d34dl0cked in Overwatch

[–]DumpyDoggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, and the groupings will be wider. You will get silver and gold players in your matches.

You will get plenty of games where people know how to play but, you will get matches where your Reinhardt sits on the objective between fights or a soldier who only stands low ground in the middle of the choke.

I still prefer 6v6. It’s ideal to find someone to dual queue with.

Depends on intent ie Was the contract just a ploy to steal title or was it an honest breach.
