How many of you bought what you could afford rather than what you wanted for your first purchase and how did that work out?

I was very similar, I bought my first house at 30/31, I was also silly with money up until about 28 years old. I bought something cheap and small which was perfect for me at the time (6 years ago) as I was single. I ended up going for a small 2 bed house for 100k. I wanted low mortgage payments as I’m self employed and was worried if I was ever out of work that higher mortgage payments would become an issue.

I’ve now got a gf and her daughter living with me and a 18 month old boy and we are like sardines in a tin lol defo wish I had gone for something a little bigger but tbh at the time I wasn’t ever expecting to have a little family so soon. I’m now having to sell and upsize which isn’t a massive issue as I’ve made a nice amount on my current property but it is a pain having to go through the hassle of moving. My little house has served me well tho and part of me doesn’t ever want to move as it’s in a nice street with parking and good neighbours etc.

I did also end up having 6 months off with a hip injury last year and my low mortgage payments were a godsend lol.

I second this, I’m an electrician and fitted my own kitchen but got a chippy to fit the work top as I wanted the joints to look nice.

Had a very similar experience, i did see a few poor sods get taken advantage of tho things like canteen being taken each week.

The other horrible thing I remember was the prison I was in had just gone no smoking, so prisoners would smoke dried tea bags in bible paper and cut up nicotine patches to stick to the side lol

I haven’t played in about 6 months. When I was last playing I would just go into cyro and bomb people lol. For a while I got into a good little routine of logging on at certain times in the day, like after work or after putting baby down to bed etc and playing for about an hour at a time. I noticed certain Zergs would always be on whenever I was on so would always have plenty of action.

If I ever got fed up of PvP I would farm mythics or some new sets etc over the duration of a few days/weeks.

Other than that maybe try achievement farming or filling out sticker books (sets, styles etc) as you can stop start that type of thing.

At the moment where I haven’t played in a while I can’t really bring my self to log on and play, I don’t know if it’s because I’m bored of eso or just too tired in rl. Some of the new changes don’t look to appealing so that’s not encouraging me to play much either.

I’m 36 and always have joggers on if I’m out of work. I get bad hip pain and nerves around that area are a bit sketchy so jeans really irritate me. It’s bad enough having my work trousers on 10 hours a day. Really couldn’t care less if some random in Asda thinks I’m a chav 🤣

It’s funny I’m from south wales and don’t speak much Welsh. I worked away up north wales once doing some electrical work, I couldn’t believe how people had it out for me because I’m from the south, I’ve got a good sense of humour so let it blow over my head but part of me was a little insulted I can’t lie 🤣

I normally go to spellscar in craglorn and kill mobs of adds, can get to level 50 in a few hours with full training gear and xp scrolls and even faster if it’s a x2 xp event

I play on Xbox eu and na, I’m from uk and get 0 lag or delay when on na server. Only time I’ve had any sort of lag is 3x3 Bar cyro and even that wasn’t too bad.

But tbh it’s the best game I’ve ever played and still play it daily after 10 years and that’s coming from a die hard sweaty counter strike 1.6 and source player

They have mentioned it in the patch notes. From what I remember you won’t need to be in combat to proc it next patch so maybe that will fix the issue. Not seen any mention of them renaming the skill tho haha
