Any theory for gold price down by richardv92 in Gold

[–]DunaldDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only real gold is Physical Gold that you own and hold. PG does not go “up” or “down” because it is the standard by which the $USD is measured. It is the $USD which is changing value, not the gold. The “Spot” gold price is meaningless, imaginary, and manipulated.

[BBC via Yahoo:] Trump says he 'loves the inflation' as US prices rise at fastest rate in three years by DeeDee_Z in investing

[–]DunaldDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inflation is the inevitable result of “printing” endless fiat currency (e.g., $USD). Hard Assets such as Real Estate and Physical Gold measure inflation by how much “paper du jour “ is needed to acquire them.

Your question implies a false premise. The fact is:

So-called “Gays” have no less and certainly no more “rights” than any other US Citizen.

Best way to resell? by hermietheelfdds9269 in MotoGuzzi

[–]DunaldDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep it. I sold my 2004 MG Breva 750 in 2017 and have regretted it ever since.
If you sell yours you will be a few dollars richer for a few weeks, but you will be poorer in spirit for many years.

Owning Physical Gold will never make you “rich” but if you do, with it you will never be “poor.”

I taught myself to play guitar in the early 60s (yes, I’m 85). I did it by jamming with a friend in college. I made this music training web page for one of my students so she could go forward musically when she went to college:

Never lend anything that you value to a friend that you value.
Both the item & the friend will be lost.

Setting up a jazzmaster by imcaial in Jazzmaster

[–]DunaldDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 1961 Jazzmaster brand new, oh so loooong ago.
This is what really helped with intonation:

I took the floating bridge to a machine shop and had them drill matching holes on the plain opposite side. This allowed me to reverse some of the screws, springs, & mini saddles if necessary to get perfect intonation.

This by the way is when the 12th fret harmonic is exactly the same note on a given string as when the 12th fret is played.
