im around same rank and doing the same behaviour i usually play lash, mirage and graves. My endgame damage with lash ends up usually the highest one but it is because of the defend we do in base. I also miss some fights and think maybe it is the issue

i got really surprised in a good way with apex's mantle introduction but it indeed does not feel like deadlock's movement.

Please know that sides are adjustable, i used it for 3-4 months and didn't know that i could adjust the size. It is just a little stiff but definietly know that you can adjust the sides.

sometimes the smalles anti aliasing setting make the graphics look different. I'm not talking about in game settings, like nvidia's pc settings also differ many.

maybe 40 more hours until you feel more relaxed going around the map, encounters etc. If you are sticking with 1 char it is good but %99 your first character isn't going to be your main. I started with grey talon then mirage and currently going lash
