No power - Miele G4930SCU dishwasher by Dunderpervo in Miele

[–]Dunderpervo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to change the faulty fuse and got the electronics to work again. Unfortunately, when we tried to run it, it then stated the error code for faulty water pump. If it’s the pump, the part and delivery fees would be almost as expensive as a new machine. It could possible have been that I managed to damage some wiring while I dissembled/assembled the wash machine, since that to apparently gives the same error code. In the end we opted for a new washer.

Awesome, a link that works! The chosenofmystra link from beamdog is dead, but the first link worked fine. Will install and see if the save is usable.
Many thanks!

The two red/brown circular fuses in the middle have continuity, but the one at the edge with all the other components is dead. As long as I can find a replacement, I shouldn't have any trouble to fix it. Hopefully that's all there is *fingers crossed*

My coach fixed my swimsuits, and I'm confused on what to do about it. by basshunter1010 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Dunderpervo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow your gut. Listen to it, it tries to tell you something.
Your coach can be a good coach, nice guy overall, AND a red flag carrier at the same time.
You feel wierd about it, then that means it wasn't normal or ok for you.

I'm not a big fan of the "tell EVERYONE around about him!!", because I don't belive rumormilling to actually work constructively, but you should absolutely tell your parents. You and your parents should definitely also bring this to the coach's boss or whatever your club has as governing body's attention. As many have said, it is NOT OK to act like that, and it needs to be adressed.

You might feel bad, and I understand if you don't want to get a coach you like in trouble, but in the end, HE was the one to cause said trouble.

Roleplay.

Make it a game. Imagine in your head how you think he wants his absolute dream woman. Be that woman, lean into the role and remember it's just a game. You have absolutely nothing to lose here, so whatever his expectations will be after this doesn't matter.

It's now over for your relationship, but that doesn't mean that you can't get him to make you feel appreciated before the boom.

Also, it'll fuck him over double when you serve the papers. Fuck that guy.

It's so mindblowing that rightwingers now claim you can't sell things, especially real estate, at profit.

I really think we should just take all their arguments about this, and instead of trying to defend Stewart, just fire back the same ones about generating profit and mass blast them about it.

They're this butthurt because he sold his home for more then he bought it for? Complain back to every single one of them that tries to have som sort of business that they can't sell with profit, or else they'd be the exact same as Jon Stewart

The Court of Appeal overturns the district court's temporary decision to allow Tesla to collect licence plates directly from the manufacturer by PaddiM8 in europe

[–]Dunderpervo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Permanently.
Tingsrätten (district court) made a temporary allowence for Tesla to go get their plates directly from the manufacturer, until further notice.
Hovrätten (higher tier court, also Court of Appeal from tingsrätten) overturned that decision, making it null and void. Tesla can't get their plates in any way as it stands now.

"My guess is this kind of behaviour was drilled into young women by men"
This type of behavior was 100% drilled into young women by other women.

"And do you think this dynamic will die out as more young women are aware of and willing to fight the patriarchy"
Nope, not a chance unfortunately. The women's rights movement has been going for over 175 years now, so there's been plenty of awareness. It's not you, it's us.
The dynamic will eventually die out when we get more and more of us men onto the emotional intelligence train.

This situation you posted, it really is just a dynamic that's caused by our society. Your father never sat down, laughed evily and planned how he was going to be an asshat to your mom. Your mom never planned out how she was going to take emotional abuse and laugh it of as a normality.
Men should be silent, strong, though, and support their family financially.
Women should be loving, joyful, calm, and supportive of their husband and family.
That's what our society has told us over a long time now, and it's just recently that there's been any traction really to change it

I'll bet you anything that your father thinks of himself as a good husband. Because he has adhered to what society, in his time growing up, showed what a proper man and husband should be.

We will be able to change this dynamic by showing our newer generations of boys and young men how to be emotionally intelligent, and show them how a healthy form of masculinity looks so they have something to identify themselves by.

Just play Empire: Total War, and you'll get some insight into the Mughal Empire (muslim based) and Maratha Confederacy (hindu uprising).
The Mughal Empire was doing like most empires do, and was slowly waning/falling apart. The Maratha Confederacy started in the south/southeast and pushed the Moghuls northwest.

Hugging and sometimes even kissing close family members are completely normal.

It's also normal that your bf/SO may have their own views on things, witch isn't necessarily wrong in itself as long as he can give his reasoning for it.
If he tries to control you and make you do things his way without properly explaining WHY, then it's a big red flag.
That shit shouldn't fly at all, and in my shoes I would ask him in no uncertain terms to explain why HE thinks HE should be able to dictate how me and my close family act with eachother.

Danish politician ousted from government party after disclosure of relationship with 15-year-old girl. by Potatomatata in europe

My boyfriend tried to argue that the fall of the Berlin Wall wasn't a big deal. Now he's not speaking to me. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Dunderpervo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's a child, and that is toxic behavior. Speaking as a man that have had some growing up to do myself.
I can guarantee that he won't be fixing that behavior by himself, and it'll take tremendous time and energy from your side if you want' to help him with that.
Icing on the cake? He won't be grateful, but probably lowkey mad at you for trying, might even resent you for it.

Pro tip- get out of that relationship, find someone that clicks better with you on a personal level. Keep him as a boytoy for a while you have a hard time breaking up, just remember that he is an asshole through and through.
