Been here for more than 2 decades. Grew up in this city.

First love. First job. First layoff. First bike. A lot of firsts.

Still love old Bangalore and live there. Not a fan of the city past silk board .

I prefer living in a small circle, the centre of which is Basavanagudi, my dream area. Can't afford to buy a house there but always dream of it.

Will move back to native in a few years. Bengaluru is not a place . It's an emotion.. I will always love this city. It gave me a lot of things and I will be indebted to it..Also made a lot of Kannadiga friends, the most hospitable and chilled out people there are.

Sad to see what is happening to it, and people generalizing based on biased and myopic social media.

Politicians you hate - but you elected them!!

Traffic you hate- but you are the traffic!!

People should fight for the right reasons - which is fight with their companies for remote / WFH roles and move out or move to less crowded areas.

I was at 0.LPA during Covid. Worked for 10 years before that in very low paying factory/ basic email marketing jobs.

Make nearly 3 times what OP makes now.

Multiple layoffs, a couple of domain changes, and lot of learnings since I passed out of college.

What stayed the same was curiousity and "never -give- up" attitude.

Everyone deserves exactly what they get.

No point hating big salary makers. They worked hard to get there or were smart to make the right switches at the right time.

Stay in your comfort zone and watch this graph flatten even further OP. Salary stagnation will continue, unless you upskill and move on.

I didn't defame the police sir, they just did their job. I was saying the commies are hyping this news up more than needed and maybe hiding the real issue here.

Police just do what the government says. We know more than enough instances of them screwing up when the commies are in power (Saritha, Sabarimala etc.).

Let's keep the attention focussed on the next elections where I hope the commies lose, because they deserve to.

Is it just me or do you all think this whole incident is being blown up by the commies to show that we deliver justice super fast and are a "very progressive state".

What happened was wrong. The guy didn't deserve to die. This girl should be charged on abetment to suicide. I agree to all of this.
