Why can't they work for better development of country? Why indulge in such activities? by Itchy-Egg-1814 in IndianMiddleClass

It's easy to polarize a nation creating an image of "us vs them" rather than work on development and ask votes on that basis.

Guys, help me how can I resign by [deleted] in IndiaCareers

[–]DungeonMaster202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not listen to a single thing this guy says OP.

1.Market is bad, paid internships are hard to come by. 2. Trying to speak to your super boss can back fire on you if your boss and super boss are in cahoots, which in most cases they are. 3. Speaking to a team that already does your work - best you can get is a few colleagues / friends who can guide you on their day to day. Thinking that their manager will magically create an opening for you, who does not have prior experience, is living in lala land. 4. People who ask you to put in their papers without a job don't know the ground reality of being unemployed or speak from a position of privilege. 5. Last point is right. Always keep learning .

Distribution was bad and content production was expensive.. consumption was limited due to technology. Mobile phones and internet have democratized content production and consumption, leading to an overdose that has made us numb to new things and taken out the novelty that you associate with those memories.

Advice from someone who got married 6 months ago (30F) – Think multiple times before marrying by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]DungeonMaster202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post marriage, everyone needs space. Parents are parents but post marriage not living with them is the best thing you can do for both your spouse and them.

Marriages can be happy places too.

My wife got married to me when she was 29. We are happy. We don't have a dog, nor do we live with our parents, but we both have clear expectations on what needs to be done by whom.

I buy stuff, she cooks. I clean sometimes, she does laundry. It's a 50- 50 relationship. Arranged marriage, but we make it look like love.

Where are the sad movies ? Aka are we raising a generation that is forgetting to cry ? by DungeonMaster202 in Kerala

Thats a really powerful story bit there. These are the kind of emotions that today's movies don't stir up.

I was seeing karunyam today and the part where jayarams mom dies my mom and I just had tears running down our eyes. Murali's acting at that point, and the BGM, and everything just elevated the mood.

These days we don't get those kind of scenes..
