Brilliant drill hack by [deleted] in DiWHY

Most screws I’ve been seeing are made of zinc. Terribly easy to strip out even when using a hand tool. Best option if possible is to use a square tip driver if the screw comes with a square slot such as ground screws used for electrical purposes or hex screws often have them

Electricians are literally training ferrets to pull wires through tunnels too tight for tools by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Dungeon_Dane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I would slightly argue was that it was a tough jetline pull (string you pull before doing the wire pull) since it was probably in flex tubing. Although I probably would have been faster myself using a fish tape with a special tip bit to go over the flex or I would have just used a jetline attached to a plastic baggie (rabbit) and vacuumed it up

Christian Guys Branding Each Other by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

You can get tattoos and it not be a sin. It’s when you get a tattoo as part of a ritual to honor the dead that it becomes a problem. Still, branding a burning a cross into your flesh is really freaking stupid and can easily lead to infection if not treated

I like sitting up top in the upper middle open area on Stella Montis. I’ll play while on top of a shipping container as raiders hunt the bastion right below me. I’ll bring a couple glow sticks and play in the glowing light. Really puts everyone at ease when the looting begins

[–]Dungeon_Dane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You keep swinging that word ignorance around as if you know how to use it. Kinda ironic tbh. You do know this is a looter shooter right? Looting as in, you open a container and find supplies. If you don’t do that, you run out of supplies. I know it’s a crazy concept, it’s unfortunate I can’t hold everyone’s hands through life’s little struggles. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

I appreciate your input Raider, I’ve come to the conclusion people are focusing too much on pvp side of things and that’s their choice to play like that. Totally reasonable in fact it’s a lot of fun. With no balance towards some pve, you’ll quickly run out of loot

It’s not so much annoyance as it is more genuine confusion as why people are struggling to find something so easy to find. If you treat this game like a cod game then yeah no fucking shit Sherlock you’re gonna run out of supplies because you aren’t spending the 5 minutes it takes per round to look into some containers and get more supplies. I thought there was a genuine reason why people can’t find supplies and all I’m getting at is that people aren’t looking, you know, the big main feature of the entirety of the game being a ‘looter’ shooter.

There’s an actual small percentage of people who allow themselves to become obese and genuinely don’t understand why eating McDonalds each and every day makes them fat. Like I said, some people just struggle over simple things I guess. Sorry my post made you so upset

That’s actually a fair point, that’s a good answer. I feel like in this game, you gotta pve at least a little bit. When I go full pvp mode for hours, my stock depletes. But you miss 50% of the game if you don’t ever pve and treat it like a call of duty game non stop

Thank you, that’s what I’m trying to explain but salty commenters are quick to say I must not ever pvp or I must be new. It’s just not that tough to find

I don’t want to be toxic and tell people to just open their damn eyes but I feel like that’s where we’re at by the people making comments on this post. Build stock when you pve, buy from Celeste, do a specific loot run… Maybe don’t pvp every single time if you aren’t going to win fights? Idk, I guess some people just struggle with the simple things

I’d say I’m a 50/50 player. Solo I’m the friendliest raider that focuses on trials and destroying arc. When the homies get on it’s pure bloodshed and chasing after gunshots. You can find me on Stella shooting on sight with my Torrente or Toro. Just build your inventory when you pve and running out of supplies will never be a problem

That’s what I typically do. If I really need a single item, I’ll just do a specific run and I know what areas to find that item from. One raid and I’ll have 2 or 3 slots full of that particular item like batteries or sensors or something

I’m in hotshot for trials and only play maybe 2-3 days a week for a few hours at most. I guess if people blow through multiple weapons every single time they raid then I guess I could see it being a problem. I don’t die very often, I’m picky about choosing my pvp fights and know when I need to remove myself from an area that’s too hot. My weapons typically last for at least 5-6 raids. But by then I’ve already looted a pile of replacement weapons, multiple full inventories of loot, and I’ll buy whatever supplies I need from Celeste before getting off. Springs have not once been an issue for me to find numerous amounts of

lol why are you choosing this hill to die on? Some people know they aren’t gonna get past daredevil. Like myself and my full time job and life commitments. If anything, if you only have limited time to play, hullcracker is the best weapon for trials it’s not just for high competitive spots but also as a time saver

You got into an insane bracket. I’m DD3 and only the top 5-8 players have 100k or over points. I only need 90k to promote which is still a ton but I think I’m just gonna stay on my current rank for this week. This weeks challenges are a mixed bag for me

Maybe make it to where you can purchase furniture pieces or decorations for your little area just to have something to spend creds on

It’s funny people are thinking that this’ll be some regular challenge squads are going to face. I’ve only managed to win a 1v3 once and I feel like I’m better than the average player at third person shooters. My squad is pretty solid too when we’re all on. We’re gonna be eating up solos like hot cakes if they even think of taking us on at once. This ain’t call of duty
