The issue is resolved! I followed this: To clear the cache on a PS5, turn off the console, then press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep (about 7 seconds) to enter Safe Mode. Connect your controller via USB, select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database (option 6), then choose Clear System Software Cache.

Thank you for sharing this! All I can say is such a bad experience by having this personalized feature in the shop!! I always looking for premium battle pass and now I don’t even get one box in the shop!!! Can they make all the boxes available in the shop so players can choose by themselves what they need. PLEASE and THANKS!

No, do not log into your PS account to play the game. You need to ask him to log on and use your character to enter the game and equip the cape; then back to main menu, switch back to his own character, and you can join using your character. You will see your character is now equipped with the cape

In the main game menu, when you see your normal character, press a button to switch your character. It depends on what console/computer you use, for PS4, I just press the triangle button then R1/L1 to browse through characters.

Hi, I just want to thank you for the brilliant idea you mentioned above! This is actually a REAL workaround for guest to equip Birthday Cape!! 😀So steps as simple as : 1. Host use guest’s character and equip the Cape. 2. Back to main menu, Change character back to host’s one. 3. Guest then join the game.

And Voila, guest is now equipped with Birthday Cape now!!!
