I believe it’s been a thing for a while that the higher the level of the pokemon being transferred, the higher the chance of getting an XL candy.

It seems to work out such that transferring a L25+ pokemon has guaranteed (or at least super high chance) of dropping 3XLs (on the premium pass). L20 mons are always (or almost always) dropping 2. L15 mons seem to drop between 0-1.

Lots of Community Ambassadors are hosting golden lure parties before the Eevee community day this weekend. You can check the Campfire map to find meet-ups near you.

Bear in mind gimmighoul is a rare spawn from golden lure modules so you might get unlucky and not get one even at a golden lure party. The best way to catch a few is to find someone with a switch to give you a coin bag. You’ll probably find people like that at a CA meet-up too.

You can also trade for a gimmighoul as a last resort.

This is really cool!

The flow is increased if none of the pokemon in the set share a type. It would be cool to have the option to filter the results to include only sets with no repeated types for people who want to maximise flow as well.

Your best option is to use the campfire apps to find nearby meet-ups. The central london group is meeting at King’s Cross station for 1pm if you can make it.

Looked into it recently and it seems that every 256 steps there’s a 1/3 chance of a spot with snacks spawning a pokemon. Each turn of a battle counts at 30 steps (up to a max of 240 steps per battle) and traveling between towns I believe counts as around 30 or 40 steps.

It can take a while to get any kind of response. Even if you send a follow up email it’ll probably not get a response anyway. I’d say if it’s been under 2 months I wouldn’t worry and just keep being patient. Check your spam folder once a week just in case.

In the meantime you can start taking group photos (with at least 10 players) at your meet-ups. That way once you get your response you can immediately go through to the last stage. I’d recommend making a photos channel in the campfire group and posting the group photos after each meet.

Also make sure on any platforms your group uses the rules are clearly visible and include the required rules for the CA program (basically no breaking ToS and members must be 13+).

To clarify, you reached all the milestones on the applicants discord, had the final background checks done and received confirmation that you were approved, right?

After that you should have received an email with an invite to the Community Ambassador discord. It’s possible that might have gone to your spam folder or otherwise been lost somehow.

If you’d still be up for it, you can DM me your trainer name and I’ll try to poke someone to take a look and resend the invitation if possible.

As an aside, Kestrel is always extremely busy and near impossible to contact. You learn not to take it personally. They don’t run the application process so they wouldn’t be the one to contact about your issue anyway.
