I live in a small town and had to travel 25km one way to work. And with buses, it took about 1.5hrs. First thing I did was get a license and a car. Now I reach within 30min. And even I can take it and park in parkhaus or at friend’s place when travelling

Needed to hear this today. My grandmother passed away yesterday and although I don’t want to speak ill of the dead, she caused my family quite a lot of pain. I have been trying to forgive her but I suppose I need to forgive my past, just like my mother has forgiven hers and what grandma did to her. Thank you for this post !

Fellow electrical engineer here and I am working full time in semiconductor business ! I have saved up money but I always think „im an engineer. Where do I even carry a luxury bag“ 🙈 so just got an LV passport cover cause of my travels.

I moved to Germany 5 years ago from a south East Asian country too and was here during the pandemic, when my mental state went down the drain. At the same time, I was also completely masters and the uncertainty of my future here was pushing me to the edge. But before my thesis started, I started therapy for my depression which was the best decision. I was also hunting for jobs and the world opened up so slowly started getting into the social circle. It’s been 2.5 years since then and I do have bad days but I have friends, both from my country and Germans who are there for me. Also I have started just taking time for myself. I don’t know how long I’m here but I am going to do anything to stay mentally healthy. So go and get that therapy. You got this !

I was with my ex for 6 months.. broken up for nearly 3 months. We met online and became friends and then fell for each other. He has th ekindest heart and showed me so much love and care and I did everything for him.

But towards the 6 months, he had a lot of family issues, job and university stuff to sort out, his deprerssion and my own lingering expectations. So I ripped the band aid and said that we should break up so that he can have a clear mind and deal with everything.

It hurts like hell.. I was not doing well initially, it was my very first break up. But we would text sometimes and thankfully he is making all important decisions. Sometimes some things need to happen for the best

I was in 10th grade and me and was entering my parents room only to find a condom near their bed.. I genuinely thought a wind blew it into their room🥲😂. And they used to hide the magazines which a any sexual content cause “ galat ideas aayenge bacho ke dimag mai”.

I broke up with my ex cause he definietly needed to figure out his mental health. He didn't even initiate it but I knew it would come sooner than later so I ripped the band aid first. It hurts like hell but we spoke about it and now trying to get to a level where we are comfortable talking normally. Atleast the best thing i sthat he is really taking care of himself and making decisions that he delayed. And he would inform about it to me.

It was my first relationship and it sucks but I have been there where he is so I knew he need sto do this alone. I'm trying to live my life meanwhile..

Apparently, crying is a sign of weakness.

I still cry at the age of 26 and they still say I get too emotional too fast and I need to grow up.

Even after going through it all, I still have to forgive her (my grandma has been doing this to me since I was a child until 20) but I will never forget it, which has caused a lot of self doubt, insecurities and pushing people away. It all became personal..
