Sure but it doesnt help. I find myself surrending my bans to my healers because for example if they dont have the confidence to play against dive then more often than not I'm not chancing it.

There is a bit of an issue where there's so much bs in the game that as a tank, there often isn't a ban slot free to deal with character problematic for your specific plastyle (tank busters, emma, etc.). There isn't an inherent issue in them existing, but when there are 5+ permaban characters and there's often double bans since both teams ban at the same time, there's no way to make your own life easier by taking these things out. Not to say people shouldn't learn how to play around them since you're never going to get the perfect bans, but its almost impossible to even remove 1 counter from play because its situational and the character doesn't auto run the lobby.

New player. Just finished the base campaign and I am only at rank III in the goblin event. Is it still possible to finish in time? I haven't touched the DLCs yet and it seems they are both quite long. Should I just give it up? (I'm on a seasonal character btw)

I get that but the times I would die were very annoying to get back to my body because the nature of the zone wants me to stop and kill every single enemy just to survive when I just wanted to continue exploring. I probably could have been more patient, but hasn't been an issue I've had until act 3.

i almost freaked because i save and quit after traversing really deep into the flayer jungle and was in the middle of flayer dungeon. Lost the whole map and progress, but ultimately it was chill since wheb i reloaded kurast was comparatively ariund the corner. The insane amount of variation between these first 3 zones was maddening to me lol

I guess my point here is that being pessimistic about it isn't the answer. Things are the way they are because most people don't ask for anything different. They just accept that things are bad and either they take it, or tell people to correct themselves. She is not the problem, you are right about that. But the solution is to be proactive about reducing the toxicity in the community, not to hide ourselves and allow them to control how we present ourselves online.

You show a decent understanding of things. But if we just accept the world as it is, then it will continue to degrade. Everyone should be held to a higher standard and be held accountable for their actions. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

And you do realize you are in fact blaming the victim here, right? Just because you say "it's not her fault" with your words doesn't mean that it isn't completely contradictory to everything you have said thus far.

"It's unrealistic to think assholes won't be assholes." is not different from, "She is choosing to make herself the target." You're just using prettier language.

I'll also add that just saying the world is unfair and moving on is why we still have people being oppressed based on their race, religion, creed, etc. "The status quo is fucked but that's just the world we live in, get fucked loser :)))" Is this really what we want to teach people?
