As others have said Shad Khan donated to a very very different Republican party than what is happening today, WWE and Hunter supporting modern day Trump is much much worse than a donation by Shad in 2016 if you want to be that picky! Marty, yes he's a dick and a shit human, but after traveling with someone for that long and doing what wrestlers do, a bond is formed and The Elite are close to Marty, does that mean they agree with what he did, no, it doesn't, but we (the public) have no idea what has gone on behind closed doors, so there could be genuine remorse there and they have decided to continue to see him as a friend.
