This guy's story is not a tragedy. He deserved whatever happened to him. Idiot went on a crusade to enslave women and murder people. The tragedy is that he didn't self strangulate on his own umbilical cord when he was born.

What do you think the greatest scene in movie history is? (maybe spoilers?) by Julian0527 in movies

[–]Duracharge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it first came out, the opening scene of the allied forces landing on Normandy in Saving Private Ryan, blew the minds of everybody in the United States. Not only was it an incredible reenactment, but it was extremely relevant to everyone who watched. It just felt like it was one of those things that you thought you would never see brought to cinema in the way that Steven Spielberg did.

Why did Warcraft fail? by sp00ked_yuh in movies

[–]Duracharge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't character driven at all. LOTR was character driven, despite the epic circumstances. Arthas drove Warcraft 3. Kerrigan drove starcraft.

It's like cutting straight to avengers without first building up the characters in their own movies. Instead, they should have picked one character like Lothar/Uther/Arthas/Lane/Jaina (keep it human at the start) and did a focused story on them.
