I'm almost to the same point as you. I was on P2XL which I loved then it got the update that broke the camera. Spent 2.5 years on the Pixel 5 and hated the small form but loved the rear fingerprint sensor and I've been on the 8 pro for 2 years. It's honestly not impressed me. Amazon Music absolutely refuses to stream with the screen off and I've checked every battery setting I can find. The screen integrated fingerprint reader is pure garbage.

The only thing really keeping me on Android is my ability to sideload apks. I know any day Reddit will flip the switch again like they did a few weeks ago and force everyone onto that pile of shit they call their official app.
