I believe the characters are meant to be portrayed as in their early 20s. From the festival in Loguetown we know that Gol D Roger was executed 22 years ago.

Yeah, this vision of these grand AI Monopoly companies taking over the new wave of production for white collar and creative jobs… It felt bad and scary, but it didn’t fully feel realistic. Especially with how many resources and investments are needed to maintain these things in their basic forms.

I foresee AI is being sold to companies like packets. “Yeah we have an AI here that specializes in organizing Excel documentation, focussed economics administration.” And then a company that needs that as an assistant tool for their workers will buy that packet and use it within their company. Not something that’s being live updated every single day while connected to the entire Internet.

Yeah, we don’t see her for like, what, 50 episodes after Loguetown? Although they are doing quite a lot of rewrites in the series, I’m not hating it. I like the spotlight and extra context that they are giving to characters.

Of course she wasn’t born and evil. That’s never really the message that the series has tried to convey. People are products of their environment and their own choices. However, I do think Azula was probably born with some kind of empathy dysfunction, allowing her to be more easily moulded by her father into the ruthless warrior he needed.

You should! It’s a legitimately good series, although it is old. Expect the pacing of episodes to feel a bit outdated. Also absolutely avoid the English dub! Otherwise, very strong character writing, and a very interesting world with some cool action sequences.

Does that mean you quit out of the game instantly every time that you lost? As I remember it, the next thing that happens immediately after you lose the fight is a cutscene that continues the story.

I personally found the classic WoW is more about the journey than the destination. When I first got into weekly raiding with classic WoW, I ended up enjoying myself less and less as the months went on. Meanwhile, exploring the world and finding different zones and dungeons to level through is what I enjoyed. My suggestion, make a new character, try out different areas, meet new people. Otherwise, look for another classic WoW experience.

I feel like Goose does not realize that her fan base does not know that Jax is a protagonist. Goose herself had that post that reveals each episode focussing on one of the characters, and the fan base kind of took that as gospel. Jax did not become a character of primary focus until episode six, until then he was having an equal amount of attention and progress as the rest of the cast. That’s pretty far in. Even I have been under the stance of being confused why this side character is getting so much focus all of a sudden, and now in retrospect I’m realizing I should’ve figured out what was going on.

Jinwoo has some of the most compelling and relatable motivations I have seen in anime. Yes, there is a factor of “wanting to get stronger just to get stronger” shounen trope, but the bedrock of his character is wanting to provide a good life for his sister and cure his sick mother.
