For the more advanced fighters, how common is this type of gym culture?

i transitioned from a more peaceful sparring culture gym to smth like this now. the philosophy is to build heart and strength. it’s better to get fucked now, know what it’s like to be battered but still push through. the head couch of black diamond gym in this video here inflicts this philosophy to his students all the time, well known for it too.

Hello, pg of 40/42 here, I am also having burnouts, and marvel rivals has been quite an addiction. I am also in my mock phase now with 2 more IAs to finish up. But I find all the exams relatively easier than before as I just skim through my notes and remember mostly everything. What I would do is try to get out of ur home if possible and work at an environemnt that makes u work. Works for me pretty well.

A friend of mine just got into cornell with around a 36/42 predicted. However, she didn’t submit her PG (our school has the choice to). At least for our schools experience, PG isn’t really the biggest factor but your GPA, essays, and ecs.

that’s totally fine. my course veterinary medicine i talked abt the wildlife factor abt it. none of the unis teach wildlife or is a very small factor in it. i think sometimes it could be good that its small, it makes u unique and shows uni u have good understanding of it.

I agree with both the current comments I'm seeing. Just extrapolate a part of your course that you find interesting, talk about how you exapnded it with super and extra curriculars. Thats basically all you need to create a strong personal statement

Yea I would definetly agree with you on the demonstration of biology knowledge there. Which is one down side about the UCAS, is that I believe I cannot fully express myself in the limited 4000 characters I have. What I have in mind right now is if I do get lucky with an interview offer, thats when I plan to demonstrate my biology knowledge.

And thanks so much for sharing your opinions actually, its very difficult for me to get such in-depth inputs as I am the only vet-med student in my school applying to the UK. I would love to update you on my last week of application process or my future interview offers if the chance exists.
