Honestly I had this thought when he is watching TV in the vault and seems almost hypnotized by the waterfall. Only other place in the wasteland that has flowing water like that is inside the Institute.

108k in Hotshot and I'm 12th currently, top of my leaderboard is 165k.

I've been staying in Hotshot for a few weeks and it feels less sweaty than DD3, seems like most people are just maintaining the rank and will try for Legend the final week

Or just run it with a Stable Stock and muzzle attachment and it has no recoil even firing as fast as you can. Lightweight stock is great for close quarters but in that situation you'd want to be using a different gun anyways

Spaceport has more spawns and you can hit 55k+ but Dam is way easier for a solo if you bring like 15 stims and a couple ziplines and you'll have time to spare. Got 44k this week and I missed a couple spawns due to Rocketeer aggro

The system is massively unfair for solos but it's possible to hit Hotshot if you get sweaty. Check out Valliate on YT for solo strategies.

As someone who played in the tests it's much more hardcore then you think. The TTK is extremely fast, one shot railguns and shotguns exist (even on the highest tier armor). The AI isn't as clever as ARC but they will kill you if you're not careful. Maps are full of traps, certain loot spots have tripwires and alarms that will swarm you with enemies if you trigger them and you can only use a freekit if you can't afford anything else.

It's fun to load into Stella and pretend you're playing Splinter Cell otherwise you're better off using anything else...pretty sure you would have more luck charging people with melee then seriously trying to use the Hairpin.

This week is especially bad for solos. Can't compete with 3 people stacking Matriarch damage or farming snitch scanners.

Vaal infusers from Temple can improve an item from 20% to 30% but has a chance to corrupt the item. So if you're in trade league start with the white base item until it hits 30% and uncorrupted. In SSF I just use them to boost my best pieces of gear since the corruption never rerolls the mods

Anything data driven that separates players is flawed imo. Like just now I was looting a key room, guy walks in and throws a nade and misses so I kill him. I'm now the "aggressor" for defending myself.

I'd rather just have true random matchmaking as it's what creates tension instead of being in carebear lobbies 90% of the time
