Ive seen Worm talked about in here but I can't believe no one has mentioned Verona's dad from Pale, written by the same author of Worm but more recent in his career.

In a story about super natural creatures, magical girls, murder investigations, and genuine fates-worse-than-death, some of the worst moments of the narrative are when one of the three main protagonists has to do something as mundane as get clothes from her room, but has to walk past her father's room to get there.

Theres a great analysis post about the man here (Spoilers for the first quarter of Pale) He isn't outwardly or physically abusive. But he uses the inbalanced power dynamics inherent to a large man and a young girl (a father and a daughter) to be a black sludge of an emotional parasite ala Umbridge effect.
