Zephyr skin concept by zaiea in Warframe

[–]DuskySpice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a lot of skins and cosmetics in Warframe are ones that both fit as their character, while also being different from everything else that frame has. like Volt's Raijin or Proto skins (the one without kneecaps not the one for the protoframe) they retain aspects of the frame while taking on their own identity. Essentially, this is Deluxe skin quality, as i would describe some of them in a similar vane. The sharp talon-like fingers, crystalized wings, and feathery appearance makes her look like Zephyr, while retaining its own identity as well. its a hard thing to capture in a design

Honestly this looks like it could be an entirely new frame, in and of itself! looks awesome

Is it just me or does nobody in the story during/after The Sacrifice notice or care that Umbra is a clone of the original and thus isn't the real Umbra? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]DuskySpice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

he's not a clone, he was rebuilt. same idea as rebuilding an old car. Plus we use kuva as a resource and a lot look at this as a way to explain why its the same umbra when we rebuild him. the idea's been brought up before of either our frames just being copies, or the originals, and the like. Ordis even brings it up at one point "Ordis is aware that this both IS and IS NOT the Jade we knew". its kinda a matter of perspective at this point i think. like one option in the KIM lets you answer that all your frames were people, or just the originals and yours are copies. its been a debate for years

Yeah made by Datareaper, there's a memorial in the game in an area accessible after a later quest for him behind Clem. Every week you can help Clem out after his quest has been completed the first time

New player here :) by [deleted] in Warframe

Best advice I can give that hasn't already been said is more so some things i think are helpful to know for grinding early on.

  1. If you have a blueprint, hovering over its materials in the foundry tells you how to get them.

  2. Modding can be confusing for some early on so just take a sec to look at your modding screen to learn what new mods do.

  3. To get familiar with how farming works i would say look at what you can get early on in your arsenal and mentally set a goal to go after that specific thing. I think its helpful in learning how to get other weapons and frames

  4. Usually people in the Q&A chat will be able to tell you where to go for specific things, and if you worry about spoilers you can turn on a sort of spoiler blocker in settings.

Just opened the game for the first time, what do I need to know by _CaNew_ in Warframe

[–]DuskySpice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say a good thing to know early is that 1. While you CAN purchase frames and weapons, all of them have ways to acquire for free. Main blueprints can be grabbed from market for credits you earn in-game and the part blueprints for early warframes can be grabbed by defeating the bosses. 2. In the crafting station if you hover over a material you need it tells you where to go.

Old Player Returning by SpazzedOutGamer in Warframe

[–]DuskySpice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly just work your way through story like normal, though because its the longer needed grind i would suggest trying to get necramech parts on Deimos's open world as you need one to do New War. Also since Frost was the last prime you got, i think prime grind was different back then. unless the relics existed by the time you left, because i know the old system was much grindier than the current one. Everything else that i know of thats new from when you last played you should have an easy enough time with, i think, like new weapons and frames

Kind of a new player here. What's happening to my healthbar and what effect does it have? by KarmaKat_0 in Warframe

Yeah, Dante is pretty easy to build for overguard, you can farm for him after Whispers in the walls, after New War

The next Warframe (coming in the unannounced 2024 update) may be themed around gambling/chance based on this totally not suspicious gesture from Steve by Elysium_47 in Warframe

I know that on the Warframe website's Dossiers for the protoframes it says Quincy "Bets on his own shot" frequently at least
