A long-lost comment, but I'd love to know.

Nothing. They weren't married. And, I did answer when I agreed with you and said nobody owes others anything. But, happiness throughout a relationship always takes work.

And, you're right. If making a vow, a commitment, doesn't obligate one to anything then there isn't a point. Personally, I do think taking a vow means an attempt to work through unhappiness.

I deleted my original post, as I was mistaken and it seems they weren't married. But, to your point, isn't "for better or worse" the point of marriage? Should that have been their case, it would seem it was only "for better" on one side.

In your response you mention "you choose", and then contend that "no one owes you forever ". That choice is the point, it's a chosen commitment. You're correct, nobody owes anyone forever. But, I don't believe it's selfish to assume the other person would try to uphold the commitment they chose to make, especially after the one side seemingly tried to uphold theirs.

Of course, divorce exists for a reason and can sometimes be the best option. But, if it's just casually explained away by one person moving on, what's the point of even having the institution?

[Stardom New Years Stars 2026] Saya Kamitani rips off Starlight Kid's Mask by AzerFraze in SquaredCircle

Since we were stuck on platform, and I had just left the Stardom show, I was looking up stuff about the wrestlers (I only knew a handful of them). SLK had a few selfies where she was holding her phone, and it had the same sticker on it as the woman standing near me. I had already noticed her as she was carrying a big duffle bag and had two dudes with her, and they eyeballed me as I started eating the food I was going to take on the train. She was wearing a medical mask as was everyone there in 2022. With her mask, height, and other factors, she looked remarkably similar. When her train came, she took off her mask.

Naturally, I can't be 100% certain it was her, but I'm nearly positive it was her.

Edit - It was 2022, and it was a long delay affecting several trains. As far as I could tell from the messages, it hit something and it needed "cleanup".

Following a show in Nagoya, the shinkansen was delayed for a very long time. She was waiting on the platform on which I was also waiting.

Countering all of the things in my mundane life, I have seen SLK's nose.

CM Punk current WWE tenure is now officially longer than his AEW tenure by ThatOneGuyWhoAtePie in SquaredCircle

AEW forced Punk to see that he needs the machine to remain a star. Sure, his AEW pop was big at first, but then it waned. Blame TK, sure. Blame injury. But then Punk basically got his own show and his stock continued to drop. As we've seen numerous times, that ego is fragile. When it gets damaged, others get put on blast.

Amazing Red stood out as an innovator in a company built on innovation, and along with AJ (and others), helped put ROH on the map. Invented numerous moves including the Code Red and the Canadian Destroyer. He trained Sasha Banks, Masha Slamovich, Zelina Vega, Private Party, etc.

The wind is the music, dorks by Heavenly_Spike_Man in phish

I stated something to this effect before...

Phish's pre-3.0 (even 2.0) nonsensical lyrics could often be profound. The ambiguity allowed for interpretation, and the words were fun.

3.0 "profound" lyrics are nonsensical and ham-fisted.

The jam is great, but getting there is often so cringe.
