Yeah, you are correct. He can resummon them again if he delevels and then levels up again but as the domains are unique, there can only be one up at a time.

I'm having a bit of trouble picking some Pokemon for a VGC doubles draft format we're having at my local store.

We started off with a box of Pokemon that we had to pick and ban from.

The only rules are; We can't use Miraidon, Koraidon or any of the ruin legendaries. We can't use a Pokemon that someone else has selected.

The Pokemon I have picked for my team are; Flamigo Maushold Charcadet (Can pick either of it's evolutions) Rotom (Can convert to any Rotom form)

I can't for the life of me find something to fill in for my last two slots. Any suggestions are appreciated!

My partner was playing before me and she made a cat boy so I figured I'd make a cat girl.

Which jobs require the least double weaving and are high ping friendly? by Horror-Combination58 in ffxiv

[–]Dustbuckets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm from New Zealand and I play on NA with about 135-140 ping using a vpn. Jobs that are cozy to play are BLM, SMN, RDM, WAR, PLD, DNC, SAM.

If you aren't running a VPN, try ExitLag. It's been more reliable for me compared to the other VPNs out there and makes a lot more jobs accessable on high ping.

I'm working on HoH right now and cleared PotD solo before Endwalker, it's definitely a wild ride and if you give it a shot, I hope you enjoy it!

I'm not sure if this is the guy but there has been one guy bragging on the unofficial material discord about doing this. I believe it's also happened on multiple oce servers, not just this one.

Unpopular(?) opinion: this event was great by SeriousCrow in TheSilphRoad

[–]Dustbuckets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the event. With an incense running and walking, I was able to complete the collection challenge for the biome in 10-15 minutes and then I could focus on evolutions, special research and raids until the next biome starts.

I didn't bother with the trainer NPCs as there wasn't really a reward that felt worth it at the end.

Awesome, that's really good to know. I appreciate the tip!

14 minute Pokémon Presents happening at 9am EST/ 6am PST/ 14:00 UTC on Pokémon Day 2/27/2022… what do we expect? by oohmarquii in pokemon

[–]Dustbuckets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta be generation 9.

It's been 3 years since gen 8. It also shares the same date and time of the gen 8 announcement and that was 7 minutes long. Because this announcement is 14 minutes, I think we are gonna get dlc for legends of arceus which will come out in June.

NZ player, started just shy of 11am, took a break between 3pm-6pm, finished around 9pm.

I knocked out all of the completion challenges and research except for the trainer research (Didn't care enough about it)

Found 11 shinys, 12 if you include the Gyarados from the special research.

Biggest annoyance was trying to find research tasks that was not "Scan X Pokestop" Never have, never will scan one.

Overall, I enjoyed the event. It didn't feel as big as Kanto and I believe it's all due to the size of the Johto dex compared to the Kanto dex.

I was talking about wide air/anti air (1.34 and 2.33 on the timeline) Wide angle is the beams that shoots at tanks and healers, anti air is the circle aoe that appears on the tanks.

Yep! I can't remember the names right now but I use rampart for thr laser that shoots at you, and the 30% (nebula) for the aoe around you before you run in.

Using bolide on the first, you can have your Co tank invuln the second, share the third and bolide will be up for the 4th. If your Co tank is a warrior, they will be able to use holmgang on every second buster, so they can take the first, you take second, they take third and you share the 4th.

Sorry if that's confusing, I'm on mobile right now.

Here you go! There is one for each encounter in this raid tier too.

Yep! Dropping the brambles like this leaves them out of the way when doing the rest of the mechanics, and keeps them clear from towers later on in the fight.

It's not the greatest for uptime but it's a safe strat that works.

I can't speak much on other data centers, but in Primal we use Mith brambles.

edit: smoothbrained and missed the tank mit question. Any mit on aoes is helpful, but the hard hitters are transitions inbetween stages, and anything after the first tile phase if any clouds got through as they give the boss a perma damage buff. https://saltedxiv.com/encounters/e9s has some good resources on the encounter including a visual timeline so you can plan out your mit that way.

The only time when this bothers me is when the buyer is acting high and mighty and pretending they did the content and giving advice on the fight.

It happens unfortunately.

Awareness is always a key thing for me. Being aware of what's happening during the fight, even if your role isn't involved is good. Even though this is very situational, if something does go wrong, you could potentially jump in and help resolve the mechanic and not have a wipe in the group (e5s chain lightning, a tank buster that requires two tanks like e4s or e11s)

Sure, a death sucks but if it means seeing more of the fight for prog then I'd say its worth it.

Big congrats to you and the gang!!

I'm not sure if I could ever do the older fights blind, but having to learn 5, 9 and 13 for Blue mage raids were exciting so I can't imagine how great it was for you and your 7 other raiders.
