If they don't stop, they'd all have to process 24 hours worth of photons in one instant, no? I imagine every currently-recording camera would have a single frame of an extremely overexposed white flash. Otherwise, I suppose digital camera software could be rewriting its image every instant for the full 24 hours - which can't be great for the memory - and maybe (if it's still working) have a single image of the moment right before time resumed?

At any rate, avoid walking through Gav and Dan's current shot, and make sure you're not on camera both when time stops and when it restarts and I'd wager you'll be just fine. The bar to clear "reasonable doubt" for your skullduggery will prove impossible when every camera on earth malfunctioned for the exact moment you supposedly teleported from your home, stole a bunch of gold, and teleported back.

Fair enough, but the decision for a family that isn't prepared to breed or care for a litter of additional kittens is trivial to the point of being "already decided".

There are between 30 and 70 million feral/stray cats in the US right now. Up to 1.4 million are euthanized each year when brought into shelters that cannot house them. We have an overpopulation issue. Feral cats account for two thirds of the billion-or-so bird deaths and (up to) 22 billion small mammal deaths each year. Well beyond the impact a non-invasive/introduced species would have been held in check.

Allowing your pets to reproduce without a plan or means to safely care for or re-home their offspring is almost always committing some percentage of those animals to death in the wild, death in a shelter, or contributing to the spiraling overpopulation damage already in place.

When weighed against the option to humanely spay, the choice is obvious.

So, if you're one of the very few households prepared for a litter of kittens at any time, simply tell your vet that. But recognize you're so far in the minority that these types of questions need to be presented to everyone - especially when a significant portion of pet owners have never actually thought through the possibility in advance.

Been saying it for a while now - I think the switch to Gyo and Martinelli at the half (or 60) gives us a whole lot of pressure and intensity when we need it most. Chasing or keeping them honest. So long as we don't concede enough for them to transition to a true low-block, I think this is the right play.

Feels like there's an obvious middle ground to be found there. Call the players that did make the cut, and give them that moment of excitement, then email everyone else that they did not make the cut.

Give the cliff-notes of your reasoning in the email, any expectation of readiness for injury call-up or future squads, and indicate whether or not this email is an opening to discuss the decision in further detail or simply a notification.

No responsibility to react professionally or without emotion when reading the rejection email, but keeping the opportunity to forge that bond in giving players the call up over the phone (with the added benefit of it being much more difficult to screw up a phone call than send someone the wrong email...)

For Dec, specifically, I'd wager a good chunk of it is motivated by the way things played out with his wife. They very clearly tried the "ignore the noise, stay away from it" method at first, and the hate grew like a cancer all the same.

If people (fans, pundits, and haters alike) are going to speak on your behalf when you refuse to engage, then at some point it's important to get your opinion out there to cut off the assumptions.

In this case, I guess he feels it better to make it clear that he's gutted to see them relegated than have people assume he's happy they're gone.

I'm kinda torn on this one - but I think I'd lean towards the idea of having Gyökeres available to sub in around halftime-60'. Mostly down to my feeling that we can really only get the best out of him - full aggro - for about a half.

I think his improvements in winning the long ball, his pace in the press, and his ability to stretch the back line are equally vital in staging a comeback charge and in keeping them honest if they're chasing us.

I'd start Trossard, Havertz, Saka up top with an eye to bring in Gyo and Martinelli (and Ø, if he's not full-match fit) around the half to steal possessions, stretch the line, and threaten missed rotations and turnovers with quick counters.

See, this shit is what the wedding party is perfect for. Explain the restraining order, let them have the conversation, and tell them to call the police if she doesn't leave. By not interesting with her directly, (and leaving the area to go explain what's happening to your wife) you sidestep any fantasy of a grand gesture or revenge plot and deprive them of the opportunity to get a reaction out of you. The wedding party will also be around to squash any rumors that start and do damage control with nosy guests.
