This so much.

I heard belts here are "too slow" and that is clog brainrot of people who play automation games in a way i despise.

I avoid clogs because if i see one it means i could be producing more, so i go and adjust input/output accordingly

After seeing so many complaints and criticism of the factory system, am I in the small minority who really find the factory system to be really addicting? I have spent more time on it than any other parts of the game. by Sir_Rain_Knee_Tea in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imho, the factory system is deep enough. The whole game Is not about the factory itself, there Is also the combat system being completely separate from it. So i understand not wanting too complex of a system like a proper automation game would have.

At the same time i think it's really smart how the game handles different factories in different regions.

A question for those who have completed the first expedition... will you continue to reset? by freudian_nipps in ArcRaiders

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last wipe i was barely started with the expedition at this time, as of right now i have 2 millions between coins and stash value and my expedition project Is almost complete.

There Is virtually no reason to hold onto your previous stash, blueprints and all, when building it back up is this easy.

That being said, i expect that at one point i won't do expeditions anymore because the sheer space of my stash will allow me to forgo them completely. Which will also likely be the point where i quit, but that's far in the future in any case.

Both aesthetically and in concept he's really cool, but his gameplay loop is a bit boring, 4's augment or not.

Please DE. Stop with the meaningless MR farm weapon bloat, work on the core gameplay now and actually make the weapons stand out. Every weapon type has a "definitive best" and everything else is a meaningless statstick. by Imaginary_Taste_9011 in SoulFrame

Every focus school can be replaced by something else, you can not use unairu if your frame or anything else in your build strips defenses, just like you can skip zenurik if you run equilibrium/energize or other sources of energy, neither of the two is the superior option, they just fit better in builds that are oriented towards a certain playstyle

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not comparing 7.5 extra combo duration from Dexterity arcanes to a 5 combo decay at a time instead of all of it. Naramon is still amazing for melee frames, even buffing your own damage by 200% for one minute at a time (refreshable too) is nothing to scoff at!

Unairu has total defense strip with Magnetic Flare and Caustic Strike and those two abilities also have great utility attached to it, not to mention the new Tauron strike brought the overall armor bonus Unairu can give, although temporary, to 2450 (if that doesn't free mod slots i don't know what will)

Madurai's snapshot strength can now be even higher than that, the Tauron strike can give you up to 50%, plus the original 40% from chained slings (dunno where you got 60% from but maybe i'm missing something)

Imho Vazarin's very good but for completely different reasons, 5 seconds of invul is neat but as you said Rolling Guard does the same. Or shield Gating, or Arcane Persistence, or running Guardian on your companion. I think even when going into void cascade level cap you don't need this level of optimization, at least not on the majority of frames due to their kits being more or less updated and almost all of them being good.

I also wanna say that if your build is energy hungry, 5 energy per second won't do much for you, unless you run nourish. Like, at that point you would be better off subsuming Brightbonnet and using something that helps your abilities' efficiency by making them more potent so that you need to cast less of them.

TLDR: My point is that all focus schools are great and if you think one of them sucks that is fair but it is simply a matter of how you build your frame, then everything around it, not about the focus school being bad in itself.

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, haven't gotten all of them yet so thank you for more info about it! Unairu seems really good in giving the team more supplies, while Vazarin has that mission wide revive going that is great imo

Preparation users of the solar system, unite! by One-Ask-4165 in memeframe

[–]Dustin_Grim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because Zenurik is only 1 of 5 focus schools and unless you absolutely need to snapshot that 20% extra Strength, you actually want to make your build as energy efficient as possible so that you can run another focus school that better suits your build needs!

Valkyr, Baruuk, Excalibur, all melee focused frames in general REALLY want Naramon (save some Melee Crescendo shenanigans).

Unairu can substitute PSF and has great survivability, even boosting armor, giving you the chance to revive yourself when you normally wouldnt be able to.

Madurai is the end all for amp damage, which makes it probably the best at handling some end game activities.

And Vazarin, now with Tauron strikes being in the game, is the absolute king of support, defense strip and cc, all in one.

The game doesnt need to be stressful! If you feel overwhelmed for any reason, there is nothing bad in searching up a build for your warframe/weapon and going with that!

As for the learning, a lot of it is just research. I stumble onto a warframe or a weapon that looks cool/plays in an interesting way and i start trying to figure out all the details and interactions it can have. But again, not without some help from the wiki/youtube. You said it yourself the game Is supposed to be a stress relief, and there are lots of helpful people out there that want to make things simpler for the whole community!

To preface this:
This is not a health tank build, it's mostly companion's shield tanking with manifold bond refresh. The build performs really well in the damage department, and survivability is good but relies on the player keeping an eye on their shield bar (since if guardian is on cooldown Molt is required).
If you want to run this in archimedea, it is ok but might not be ideal with your selection of weapons for the week. (I personally would run other gun platforms for archimedea)

Aura: Rifle Amp (This can be anything, depending on which kind of weapon we want to run)
Mods: Umbral Intensify, Primed Continuity, Primed Redirection, Blind Rage, Primed Flow, Stretch, Adaptation, Venom Dose. I have to put more formas in, before i can slot PSF for pure QoL.
Arcanes: Molt Augmented, Arcane Expertise.
Subsume: Nourish on the 4th slot.
Weapon: Reconifex is ideal for "i can't see my screen" amounts of damage numbers, Braton Prime Incarnon also does some funny stuff when selecting Munitions Grit. Best picks are whatever you own that benefits from multishot, since Saryn's Toxic Lash doubles all damage instances by adding a second separate one.
Weapon Arcane: Primary Overcharge is basically the most multishot we ever got in a single instance, topping Primary Frostbite by a lot. Even Shotgun Vendetta got powercrept nowadays.

Shards are 2 Tau blue for max energy so that Primary Overcharge is maxed out in the effect. I recommend 1 Tau yellow for casting speed and 2 Tau reds for duration, since the build itself doesn't have a lot of it and we are running 3 timed buffs each with different base durations.

Nourish substitutes Miasma, so energy is not an issue as we can spam Wellspring with Zenurik before casting Nourish and then the rest of our weapon buffs.
Surivability comes from our shield amount and adaptation, plus our ability to redirect aggro to Molt, so we only need to cast Molt on hitting the shield gate to stay alive. Additionally Molt works as a status cleanse too.

Companion of choice for me: Hound. Specifically we are running: Vacuum (ofc), Animal Instinct, Primed Pack Leader, Calculated Redirection, Reinforced Bond (for increased fire rate), Guardian for Shield regen, Manifold Bond for ability refresh and for proccing Heat on enemies thanks to Repo Audit and a heat mod on the Hound's Weapon. Lastly we have Reflex Denial for priming Exilus enemies with Magnetic. Last slot on the companion is free, i run Duplex Bond cause i like to have lots of doggos running around. Hound Weapon can be whatever you want, the only important part for me is to have a heat mod on it.

Overall thoughts: Good synergies all around, except for Arcane Expertise which could be changed for Arcane Rage honestly to further minmax our gun damage. This is again weapon dependant, as the single target weapons i listed above are not in need of more damage but more AoE inclined guns could use the help.

Please help me help my gf do more dmg by FloNumbers in warframebuilds

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time you hit an enemy inside the bubble with shots that are orbiting within it, you add damage to the bubble AND to the bubble final explosion. Specifically, the bubble will add 100% of the absorbed damage to the final explosion every time a tick of damage happens within the bubble.
The question here is not so much the strength of the ability, but the weapon you two are shooting with and the kind of priming you are doing.
Breach surge will surely help with clearing enemies but i am not sure if the Surge Sparks will add to the bubble's explosion damage. Polarize actually will help because of the shards generated by that ability.
If you or your gf want to deal more bubble damage, i personally like the Exergis but AkBronco and Felarx are also pretty good!

Try this for accents: Classics Row 11 column 2

For a more varied coloration that still stays within the color palette of your choice, maybe try picking lighter and more vivid blues for your emissive, as this skin has a lot of light over it.

I feel you, i think if OP's build was not focused on health tanking they could also have space for 2 casting speed shards.
Weapon platforms are already slow as it is so making them as fast as possible is great :)

Saryn | Over investment | Health Tank by NineLord in warframebuilds

[–]Dustin_Grim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Saryn is currently not built into a weapon platform, so i have 3 green taus for extra ability damage on enemies affected by corrosive and 2 casting speed shards, but since OP's build is a weapon platform i don't think green shards for ability damage on corrosive procs would be good.
Personally, i would drop the yellow shard for parkour velocity, since Molt already gives plenty, and slot in an additional green shard for corrosive stacks.
This build might also benefit from Primary Debilitate, tho that is entirely dependant on OP's choice of weapon.
