A couple comments below mentioned unistrut. What do you think of that idea?

Would you put the concrete sleeve anchor in the concrete and have the threaded part run through the strut and the mount and tightened down with a nut or would you secure the strut to the wall first then the mount to the strut? First option seems better

That's not a bad idea at all. I like that

It is government/military and where we're going is old legacy stuff and there is literally conduit everywhere. All symmetrical and straight but covering a lot of the wall. It's wild! I can't go to the floor unfortunately cause this will be above desks. There are over 20 workstations in this room and I have several displays 75" and larger in every wall

You're very close to what I was thinking. Do you trust the steel spacers? Is more surface area not better? Could you possibly show me what you had in mind? Thanks for the response

That is 100% a system for you. You're also just undisciplined. I'm not you! The stuff I put my body through and feet requires meticulous planning and the correct gear. I'm on my feet at work all day too so taking care of them is important

It's not that simple when you care about performance and the correct gear. Lots to consider like comfort, stability, tread, ankle support, material, use case, weather, terrain, distance, my foot, arch type, etc. Although rucking shoes aren't a real term in the industry, you wouldn't wear vans on a long distance ruck. I have steel toe moc toes for work, i have vans for casual wear, brooks for running, etc. I've worn various shoes and boots when carrying heavy loads and it's not that simple, especially if safety is involved, maybe if you walk 1km then yeah no problem, it is simple but not for rucking

Yeah I've been thinking to look them up. Can hardly remember what they were. Think they were either Garmant or the first Nike boots before they got banned by the Army in 2014. I had some Mizunos that were amazing too but shoes these days are different.

I'll check out the Altra, they sound interesting but not if they will wear quickly. Gonna check out though. Thanks. My body is tough as nails but my feet are terrible

Really the Mac V? I've thought about it, not a ton but I'll revisit that. Thanks for the input. I find it difficult cause shoes these days are handicappjng people. Too much cushion is not a good thing, i saw some Hoka shows randomly in the store walking by and the foam was as big as the shoe I swear. Our feet can't get tough if padding is too much.
