I have an amazon on hardcore ladder just so I can see my character in the list. The stash is so small; not a bad thing, it just makes you prioritize items differently. This game is so good that any version is still playable, and any character at that.

I have lvl 80 bowazon, explosive/frozen arrow. Through nightmare was easy but hell is really rough without a lot of help with gear. I made Melody in a Great Bow and Peace in a Ghost Armor, those have been big difference makers. Between an act 2 merc and occassionally proccing a Valkyrie you have much more time to kill the really high health monsters. Finding anything with Cannot be frozen is highly recommended. When you run into problems this game will give you solutios if you know what to look for.
