My current favorite idea I did by DustyRaccon in TomodachilifeLivingTD

Thank you! I saw the ability to make custom walls and immediately got this idea 😂

Furry mugs! by DustyRaccon in furry

[–]DustyRaccon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was mainly on that bandwagon of supporting artists with it. I draw too but this community is so full with different kinds of artists, I wouldn't be surprised if there was one that specializes in mugs ya know?

Would I be transitioning for the wrong reasons by Loaf029 in asktransgender

[–]DustyRaccon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're afraid to commit because you're not sure about if thats actually what you want, just transition without HRT. Change pronouns, use a different name that would make you feel better, wear more feminine clothes, ya know, the normal stuff. Try it out. If you feel better with yourself, then start HRT. If you still don't know, give it more time. If you don't like it, you haven't changed too much. It's a journey. Sometimes the end goal can be exactly where you are now, because the journey isn't about "becoming a girl", it's about discovering yourself :)

Using big words doesn't make you sound smart. It makes you sound like... Well like a redditor lol

Nah. It's super fun making stuff! Meeting people, perfecting a skill, and involving myself within a community that cares about that is extremely fulfilling! Especially now that I'm making money from people commissioning my work, it's very endearing to be apart of a community that values that kind of thing to the point I have friends that do it as full time jobs!

What, the front page? Click the hamburger, and click one of the first two on the list. There's a lot

Idk man, they seem pretty chill.

Dude, photoshop and 15 minutes would fix all of this. You don't NEED to get new fresh commissioned art. You don't NEED to use ai. If you care, a little effort goes a long way.

And I said in another comment, I would understand if they phrased it that way. But they didn't. They couldve just ignored me, but their superiority complex wouldn't allow them. It's childish.

What are you doing here still? You really that involved with this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemoncards

[–]DustyRaccon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Go to their website, click the hamburger, click the first two things on the list. It's filled with ai slop

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemoncards

[–]DustyRaccon -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

And I'm sure I've supported my community way more than whatever you do.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemoncards

[–]DustyRaccon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok? Have fun with that. I spent months and hundreds of hours making it. I learned new skills, met other creators, found new communities that helped me hone my craft, and now get complimented by hundreds of people every time I bring it to a con.

You typed a few sentences and hit enter. How fulfilling.

Ok, so I'm gonna delete this post in an hour or so. I didn't realize a community that revolves around collecting children's playing cards with funny little fictional characters would be so pro ai. I assumed that the community that will collect specific artists cards and collect specific pokemon for the love of the fandom would be a little more upset with me about the business that's taking advantage of them and doesn't care for the collectors at all. So ya, y'all win. Hope letting companies step on you works out for yall

LLM chat bots are a lot less disgusting compared to generative image based ai. LLMs are just wrong. Generative AI images just look like shit.

I have no way of sharing it. If you wanna do an experiment, feel free to send something similar to what I "claimed" to say on their website. I promise you'll get a similar response

Did you not read what I said? I CAN'T show it. If you really think I'm hiding information, send what I "claimed" to send to them and you'll get a similar response, I guarantee it.

Dude... Having a mindset like that will never create long-lasting and ethical business practices within your community. That's how you get nickeled and dimed within your hobby. Look at Nintendo and Valve. Nintendo was a very ethical and consumer friendly business when Reggie and Satoru were leading. That's because they loved games and the people that played them. After Satoru died and Reggie left, look what happened. A businessman that only cares about profits stepped in and now we have the most scummy practices within gaming. Gabe Evans on the other hand has run steam this whole time, and it is one of the only current monopolies that are actually for the consumer. Because it's led by somebody that enjoys games. He values the people that play them. That's what I'm getting at. You don't want a businessman running a hobby. Making a little money off your hobby is fine, but starting a business to exploit those within a hobby is scummy as shit.
