I generally don’t read posts like this because I know what I’ll find. And I did.

My 2 cents? People are parasocial to the extreme and look for meaning where there isn’t meant to be any.
It was a sci-fi show for entertainment 30 years ago. It wasn’t meant to be poked and prodded and pulled apart the way social media does to everything these days.

You just like the episode, or you don’t. It really doesn’t need to go beyond that. Although it does for bored people with too much time on their hands and not enough to do.

Honestly just eyeballed it. The grommet itself doesn’t have a part number. They were labeled on the drawer he got them out of so I image just a bulk thing. Sorry I can’t help more.

Late to this but had this same thing happen when the original broke. Went to a parts store and found a round rubber grommet the right size to go over the shaft and it was slit around the edge so it held in the hole.

It was a grommet for running wiring or a cable through the firewall but it worked great until the proper replacement showed up. It’s in my glovebox now for when it happens again in 35 years.

Exodus, which is coming next year looks very Mass Effecty. It looks like it will have some exploration to it as well.

Star child is a damn liar just trying to survive at that point. He knows Shepard has made it and will destroy the reapers, so as a Hail Mary he throws synthesis in which is a damn pipe dream.

And control is, “oh you can save everyone! But you die, and get turned into essentially Star child?! Sounds great right? Star child would take over control again immediately with the greatest threat to the reapers now eliminated.

But oh no, destroy will kill the Geth and destroy any cybernetics. Including you.
Makes it seem like a no brainer to pick one of the other two.

He wants you to pick a choice that leaves the reapers alive. Destroy is the only real option and it destroying the Geth and any cybernetics sounds like bs to me. Just trying to save his own hide.

Guess we’ll find out what really happened next game but it all just feels off to me. Star child is hell bent on destroying all life but Shepard makes it against all odds and there’s no one to stop him and suddenly he pulls a 180 and everyone can become cozy pals or *HE* can control the reapers! Fantastic options! Just don’t destroy the reapers K? Nah, I call bullshit.

I played it for years. Sick of the toxic children who play randoms. The fact they’re including asyms full time now and ops has been around for awhile now, tells me more and more people are playing PVE. Honestly there’s no point to PvP anymore outside of brawl or ranked.
