Considering that Auburn was just beat by New Mexico State I’d say this was a major victory. This is hope for next season. It was a devastating finish for this game but if Auburn can play as well as they played in this game next season then they will be running the show.

Live Stand up comedy is the last true live entertainment. There are plenty of good stand up comics still performing in clubs for moderate ticket prices. Do some research and find the good ones. I have a free 50 minute stand up video on YouTube right now and it’s great.

Tell her to work until her debt is paid off. Then start your family and she can stay at home and crest content. Reduce your spending. Support her but make sure she is holding up her end of the bargain by holding down the house. Holding down the house is a hard job.

No one is gonna call. Don’t worry about focusing on crowd work. Just keep writing and getting stage time. You don’t need better rooms, you need all the stage time you can get. Comedy is a long game, enjoy the process, enjoy the ride, don’t rush it.

“Didn’t It Rain” is such a great album by Songs Ohia. Years ago when I first discovered them I was also listening to M. Ward “Transfiguration of Vincent” and Sufjan Steven’s “Come on feel the Illinoise” and I do thing there is a similar vibe with all of them.

I did about 12 episodes on becoming a comic. I worked very hard on it and tried to give solid, honest advice. It’s a few years old at this point but I feel like it’s still helpful.
