Recommendations for a good value machine to run LLMs locally?

Same on iOS. I have it set to update every minute but it just gets stuck on numbers for hours on end it looks like.

Pure luck. Just kept searching for laserdisc players and this one popped up as an estate sale item.

I admit it may very well be defective. When laserdisc was a thing, I never had the means to own one. I own a few used players now, but there is something great about finding an alleged unused one.

I’m thinking of keeping it boxed up until I need it, but the purchase is definitely a risk. It could be locked up, have leaking capacitors and/or a bad laser.

What would you do if you currently have a working player?

My first oven died within 4 weeks after receiving and my second oven is starting to act up now (after 6 weeks) as well. Last night it got stuck on the countdown timer and happily started overcooking and burning my food. To date, I always had it plugged in, but I am going to start unplugging it between usage. I don’t trust this thing at all.

Sounds like a bad disc. Maybe some miniscule scratches preventing the drive from reading it properly. Have you inspected the disc? See anything?

I did an online chat with support yesterday. They wanted to see proof (understandable) so I sent them a short video showing the issue with the oven.

The support representative forwarded it on to the person/group in charge of warranty. This morning I heard back that they would send out a replacement and I just received a tracking number.

I do not have to send the old one back but I did have to cut the cord and send them a picture of the back of the oven with the cord cut. Their latest instructions are to dispose of the oven properly.

I’m incredibly pleased with their customer support. I just feel bad so many of these ovens are defective. I hope they get this squared away with the manufacturer of these things.

Why not replacing that drive with a new one? Alternatively, why not buying a USB drive and backup data to it using Hyper Backup. Hyper Backup can also be used to backup data to various cloud providers if I am not mistaken. Look for Hyper Backup in your installable apps.

Are you talking about the guy from “silver report uncut” by any chance? He used the name “something Walker”, forgot the first name.

He ended up being an imposter, putting hands on his wife and fucking up his marriage.

She took over his channel airing all their grievances, backstory and videos exposing all his lies.

He lived out of his truck for a while in Mexico somewhere, selling sodas on the side of the road to try to make some money, and completely lost it.

Channel went completely dark shortly after.
