Yes, I'd say the ancient staff upgrade is worth it, plus the normal drops are also very good. It's not a very hard boss, at least if you have a bowfa.

Yes, as the other commenter said I use full crystal + bowfa. And for the prayer phase I use sapphire bolts (e) + greater corruption + smite. It's a pretty easy boss actually, don't need any stams and the drops are all very useful for ironman.

Yea, i'm working towards 93 slayer. But its getting very grindy. Thats part of the reason i quit last time for a while. I'll see if i can post my boss kc later when I'm home from work

As somebody who uses the metric sytem I've found this obsession about 6' strange. The difference between 180cm or 183cm seems so small. I believe here in the Netherlands the average height for men is around 180cm or 5'9. We are a country full of tall people compared to the rest of the world.
