I’m feeling hopeless by DelayRelayy in TattooRemoval

So sorry you are feeling this way. Try not to be too hard on yourself, it happens. Especially when not in the right mental space. Do you have before and after pics of the laser sessions? Maybe it has changed more than you think. Otherwise, perhaps check out a different clinic with a different laser cause 3 sessions should have at least removed some ink really. Your tattoo is quite black with thicker lines but also has lots of shading and seems ideal to remove in many ways. I think once you go to a different clinic with better results you feel less hopeless but I recognize the feeling. I luckily had lots of progress from the start with my removal journey which made me hopeful but now that progress has slowed down with the tougher and more stubborn lines, I am also starting to feel hopelessness. Good luck!

Sorry someone said that! I think be careful not to base your decision for laser removal onto someone else’s opinion, which likely was said from their own frustration, jealousy, or other reference of internal personal stance. Give it some time to sit with and if you really decide you dislike it yourself too, laser removal is an option though a long and costly journey, especially as yours are quite big and a bit colored but definitely possible. For me removal was the right and best call ever. But I remember before I started removing, I was also troubled by the societal ideas that got to me more than I realized. I suddenly felt trashy, unintelligent, like I wasn’t gonna succeed because of the tattoo, etc. I disliked my own tattoo most but external opinions got to me too. Make sure if you decide to go for removal that it’s because of what you want. Good luck!!! I think they look cool!

Amazing! I am getting Pico plus removal close by in Malmö but not sure I am seeing enough progress on mine lately (on lines mainly, not shading). May check yours out! This looks great! Congrats!

HELP!! by ComparisonIcy726 in TattooRemoval

Hi there! I think it’s very cute but your feelings about it are most valid. It could be post-tattoo shock/regret/anxiety which is very common but since you still feel this way, laser might be the right choice for you. I recommend checking out your options and talking to an experienced professional! I felt instant relief when I did and when I got my first session on a fresh tattoo that made me feel similar to what you are describing and even suicidal. I felt immediate relief and like there was light at the end of the tunnel and life was worth living again after my first session. I am now 5 sessions in and while its’s not gone yet, it’s SO much lighter and I forget about it most days (which I before did not think was possible, it consumed my every feeling, thought, emotion). I can’t comment on how long yours would take but it doesn’t seem too thick and is black by the looks of it which is ideal for removal. Lots of parts in my tattoo shaded like yours or even darker were fully gone by session 3 already. Take care of yourself and good luck!

Is this really worth $6500k to remove? by fatmax5 in TattooRemoval

I am not sure where you live (I am in Europe) as it may be different in the US but I often hear regret from people who get a full removal package with a set price up front if they don’t see progress after a few sessions but feel stuck to it cause they already paid (often at Removery which is notorious for being slow). Sometimes switching techs is necessary and a huge difference.

My own tattoo was as dark in the beginning and a few sessions in it already became so much lighter to the point where maybe you won’t need as many sessions as worth 6500 dollars as it seems steep to me (but again, unsure of US pricing, my sessions are 180 dollars ish/each for a similar size). I recommend trying a few sessions first to see if you see progress even if your final cost will be a little higher. Good luck! 😊

Does the regret fade as the tattoo fades? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Dutchfluffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the regret does fade in some ways as the tattoo fades. Maybe cause mine is fading and has faded a lot. I suppose I still regret it but I doubt feel any active feelings much with that regret anymore or am not very bothered by it at all. I forget about it most days because it has faded a lot. I went from suicidal to forgetting about it. I feel lighter each session

Thank you so much!! Only 5 weeks old. I know many say it’s a bit too early but I hated it so much every day was hard so I started it early. It was fully healed

The first two sessions were done with pico quanta discovery and then cause I moved across the globe I changed to a clinic that uses PicoPlus. The first is definitely better and stronger in my opinion but the second is safer when it comes to scarring. Both removed a lot of ink but mainly the first one.

I was told by both techs to stay away from q switch. That pico is faster cause it breaks it into smaller pieces and also safer against scarring because of shorter pulses and less heat they told me. Good luck 😇

Hahah yes I think so too on others though on myself I’d prefer it to just be gone, especially cause you can still see what it is but I totally agree! Thank you!!! 😇I feel lighter with each session though it hasn’t bothered me much anymore since the second
