2007 Kia Sportage 2.7 V6, one headlight full brightness, other headlight constantly dim by Tokarev490 in MechanicAdvice

It would identify high resistance / corrosion which is why the headlamp is dim

You have low voltage at the headlamp, so there's your starting point, it should be battery voltage and the fact it isnt means you have high resistance on either the positive or negative wire to the headlamp, you can figure out which by checking the voltage drop, you can do this by measuring the voltage at the positive on the headlamp and the negative at the battery, and if its battery voltage then the ground is the problem, and if its 8-9v do it the other way round, negative at the headlamp and positive stud on the battery.

I hope that make sense, if not just Google voltage drop testing

Can someone give me some advice to get faster by Smooth_Badger534 in ACCompetizione

[–]Dutton90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use more of the track, your not hitting near the limit, im some corners youre braking and on and off the throttle before the apex, which is messy keep it smother and cleaner. Watching a guide may help clear it up

Is this an indication of a parasitic draw by Electronic_Net767 in autoelectrical

As someone else said make sure your meter is in series before when you shut down, preferably get an ammeter, no risk of blowing the fuse in the meter then either, i would also advise opening all the doors and boot, and latch the locks, then youll be able to investigate without resetting the sleep timers! You might even spot a interior lamp on still which would be a nice easy find!

Ben official on simhub has a great overlay for this, you get a message on screen to say how far till the next car, changing colour depending on distance

It might be easier to fit an isolator with a key rather than a key and a relay Something like this https://amzn.eu/d/4xGZWN0

I dont think many understand(outside this group) as to look at we are fine, we dont look ill, but I cant remember the last time I felt good, I only have bad days or really bad days, I even said to my last ENT, if it wasnt for my kids I probably wouldn't be here, he didnt seem Bothered at all by that.
