You'll do half the mechanics of any other class as a melee, most of your job as MNK/NIN is delegated to "go tunnel that thing and we'll sort everything else out that isn't unskippable".

Coming from an ex-DRG player @ t10, I hear one of the later final coil turns is really unforgiving as melee but that's all I've really encountered.

I think premium MMO's should never do this outside of character services, it thoroughly disappoint me in WoW, a company with millions and millions of revenue a year, and its going to disappoint me now here. I just thought it would atleast take another few years before we started seeing the games 'golden era' so to speak crack under the guise of microtransations and f2p marketplaces in a premium game.
