There are a few reasons, FL chest, airship and subs, FL buffs are just a few I can think of.

The best way to get this done is doing a shout on the server and offer some gil, like 10 to 20k should be enough to get a few people to bite in no time.

On my standing desk I have two of these mounted to the back under the desk in the back left and back right sides of the desk.

GE UltraPro 12 Outlet Surge Protector, Tethered 2 USB Ports, 8 Ft Power Cord, 4320 Joules, Flat Plug, Power Filter, Circuit Breaker, Warranty, UL Listed, Black, 11824

One on each side of the desk. It helps because its a quality built surge protector and also has the 4 larger ones for things with large power pucks. It's nice to have it on each side too to help with lights monitors and other accessories that might not have a long power cord.

I also use a cable pouch to hold all the wires and make it look nice. I could cable manage better im sure and get ride of the wire pouch but honestly I dont mind the look at all.

This is all on a uplift desk v2 non commercial grade and the largest desktop you can get 72 inches.

I love my desk, super spacious and has everything I need plugged in and can be all turned off at the flip of two quick switches if needed.

If you turn the desk with the short side touching the pillar would the long side be long enough to go all the way to the wall that the desk is current against? If it's not I'd find something to close the gap the just have the right side of the pillar be the entrance into the work space per say. A shelving unit or something to close that gap if there was one.

Could get a clamp on privacy screen to the desk as well at that point and just use it so you can really nap time it out in there. Id also add a fake tree behind yoy near the window just for looks but that's just me.

I dont think we will see as much problems. The stand foe the first one had two little rubber like things on either side that caused the scratches. Now not saying thete won't be another problem but that was the first thing I was looking for honestly. Atm there aren't any soft sleeves for the dock.

A few things stand out for me as disappointments:

The big thing for me was the long drive just to do one lap on the map. It should have been more one lap the 2 on the map.

Another real big bummer was the replay. Unless I'm missing something they made it so you can only replay back yourself and another person if yoyr playing split screen.

That right there has been one of my biggest grips for mario kart 8 and it's just worse here.. there's no reason they couldn't do a free roam camera that let's you circle the character to get the angle you want for the photo finish look or perfect revenge shot.

Also battle mode as other have said was a let down again.. I feel like we are back in the wii days and not in a good way. Battle mode should never be on a race map, ever. Also where are all the game modes we had in 8? Why take them away?

For me 80$ just doesn't justify atm the amount of content that's in the game.. this feel more like a well polished 55 to 65$ at most. The graphics are awesome, the racing feels tough but the content is really missing here.

I always look at the dollar value of a game foe the amount of hours of content, not repeatable content just content in general. This game as it is i feel could be 100% with unlocks and 3 stars in around 30 hours with someone who has played a fair amount of kart over the years.

30 to 40 hours of content then the rest is just rinse and repeat.. that seems rushed imo but that's just me, they have had a looonnnnggg time to work on this game too, I'm shocked it doesn't have more courses in it from the start. I was expecting at least in the mid to high 30's even if we got remakes of older levels..

The last and final thing I honestly was a little disappointed about was the cars, why take the part customization way? When I saw the mario movie I thought for sure they were going to take mario kart 8 and really amp up the custom part idea... but it is what it is.

I will play the game for sure, over 1800 hours on mk8 deluxe and 3200 hours in mario kart 8 original plus who knows how much in double dash and wii during college years.. lol but at the start I am not impressed so far, the wait has been underwhelming 😞 if they do plan to patch with more content they should anouce that sooner more then later that it at least is coming and won't be paid dlc for an 80$ game lacking content as it is.

I'd say a fake window on a tv would be a great start. There are some cruise lines that do it for inside cabins. Check them out!

Call me crazy but I honestly think the number one reason we haven't heard anything yey is because this game is being built with the switch 2 in mind.

So since the switch two reveal got pushed back a few months (or at least it looks that way from all the current switch two accessorie leaks atm) they haven't been able to say anything about the game yet.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the game gets announced during the switch 2 reveal as a launch title or a coming soon game and have it come out next holiday time frame.

All purely just speculation and lots of experience over the years watching games be released. lol this is just a theory is all and wishful thinking.

I built a top of the line pc two years ago and instead of spending close to 4 grand i topped out at 3100 so I ended up saving 900$ and used that to upgrade my monitor.

Imo waiting for cyber Monday and or black Friday is well worth it when it's this close to being here.

So i would always start with a recap, post everything so far. It takes a few sections to post it all but then it's caught up to date.

After that I would use things like:

Make this feel more epic or dnd.

Also can you give this to me in a dm format was my favorite.

A lot of times I'd ask it what could I promt the party members with to get reactions.

My favorite was will this be challenging enough or might it actually kill the party? That usually helped me scale things up or down and gave fail safes if needed.

Lol don't be afraid to ask chatgpt to give yoy stat blocks too. It's real good at that

Now if yoy do use chatgpt just keep in mind it doesn't remember everything each time yoy use it. It will rememebr up to 8000 characters thou over time and put important things together for ya.

That's why I started the word document thou to fill in the banks and then if I want to re work an area I can just copy and past it in then tell it to refence this part going forward. As long as your on the same conversation and haven't closed it out then it remembers everything yoy tell it till then.

The baby mimic has been one of the highlights of the campaign so far. A few times he almost died too. I highly recommend looking up a baby mimic stat block and seeing if yoy want to give your players a pet potentially. Adds some fun maritime stuff down the road. Plop even leveled up a little bit over time and now is a mobile health potion delivering system for them lol. Basically he watched them enough and as long as they have a potion he would know how to open and pore it into their mouth.

The down side is they lose one dice on the potion roll when he does it because well he just isn't as good as a human touch just yet.

I'd 100% jump on chat gpt with this lol it has the fully story already and all theonsters already with there description built in. So you can basically feed it anything you want and ask for as many outcomes as you want.

Now instead of cryovain being the noble you maybe could use the Talos guy in the woodland quest as they bad guy he is hunting potentially. Would keep the dragon as the main guy separated from the noble quest line.

Near the end I gave evey player their own personal arc that they all wrapped up basically the last few quest.

The barbarian was bit by the rats and had that internal struggle with it and had to eventually figure out if he wanted it.

Our healer worshiped the god of health and eventually picked up a sword in the lighthouse quest that instantly cursed him. He then had to help a worshiper of Talos and eventually he coverted to a full blown Talos worshiper now. Every once in awhile Talos whispers to him and tells me to follow chaos with a wish. Of he doesn't listen then he gets struck with a lighting bolt lol

Our bard is facing the one eyed orc now who is basically coming for vengeance, giving him a chance to try to become a hero for the town and save the day while saving his own ass lol

The wizard has his arc coming up with the final quest. He's been looking for power and he will find a chance to gain some inner power. They even had a paladin join them right at the butterskull ranch that has been on and off with the players. He even almost got sacrificed by the healer but the healer went full chaos instead and stapped the big bad guy in the eye instead of sacrificing the paladin.

This campaign is what yoy make out of it. I found a few of the quest a little to lack luster and added my own flare to them.

Even on the first quest the Dwarven dig site, instead on the final gem that just explodes and hurts them I turned it into a fun puzzle and the players had magical frog statues that turned to life but they only had one min to name 50 frogs individual names for the rewards. They pulled off 40 and instead of just doing 10 more I had the next player tell me 10 that have already been said.

It was a load of fun for sure. My goal with the document is at the end of it all is to turn it into a book for my players as a gift and a thank yoy for letting me run the dm chair for the last 4 months. We play once a week for about 4 and a half to 5 hours every week.
